Aquatica Tickets?

Has any announcement been made for when Aquatica tickets will go on sale or a definite opening date? We are vacationing in April 2008 and are keeping our fingers crossed that it will have already opened by then.

I don't think tickets are on sale yet (not sure they have decided on the price), but they are handing out brochures at the parking booth that say "March 2008," and that date is also posted on the model in the Hospitality House. So they seem pretty certain it will open on time.

what i hear they are looking at charging a decent price.. somewhere around the price of adventure island or a little higher, but it could have been a run around during the meeting.

The price is going to be, from what I have heard...from no one in particular...just slightly lower than Sea World. They will also run different deals to include both parks.

The virgin holidays uk site is selling a sea world/discovery cove/aquatica/busch gardens combo pass for about 190 pounds or $385. This is a dolphon swim with 14 days in the other parks. I'm sure there will be a comparable us offering but probably for 7 days as opposed to 14.

Any word on whether or not the Platinum pass will include admission to Aquatica? Hopefully it will since all the other AB parks are included.

The Orlando Flexticket and Flexticket Plus will both include Aquatica as of March next year, and those tickets are on sale now.

I called and was told that Aquatica will be included with the Plat Pass

Aquatica is actually listed on the Sesame Place Grover Passport which is only $139 through 2008. The platinum passport at Seaworld and Busch Gardens is listed at $309 but is for a full two years. Parking and ride again privileges are only at the home park for either passport.

Does anyone know the discount offered at Discovery Cove for Platinum Passport members?
