It hasn't even officially had its grand opening yet, but a little dolphin tells me AQ has already had to close its gates after reaching capacity two or three times this week--not sure yet which days or how long the shut-down lasted, trying to learn more. Despite this, lines apparently have not been bad, other than the dolphin slide where they can go up to an hour.
Bottom line, I'd get there early, and ride the dolphin slide first.
Interestingly, Sea World itself seems uncharactersistically uncrowded for the week before Easter. This week they had deputies stationed along Sea Harbor Drive, which means they planned on using overflow parking across the street. However, the main lot didn't appear to come close to filling up any day, and looked less crowded than even a typical Saturday in the off-season. I'm wondering if AQ is just cannabalizing SW's own guests. Or maybe the early Easter has spread the crowds more evenly throughout March and April.
