Aquatica or Disney Waterpark for a quick trip

We are a family of 5 all of our kids are under 8...we are going to be in Orlando for a family wedding, and only have 1 day to do something fun...disney is out, 1 day is not enough for me...and we re thinking we want to do a waterpark...oh and it will be in august on a saturday....so Aquatica, or one of Disney's waterparks? ifyou say Disney which one?

We got back last Sunday.

Did Aquatica on our 1st day there (Thurs 5th June) - got there at 8.30am and it was full when we left at 1pm.

Tried to go back on our last day (Sat 14th June) after we had checked our luggage in at DTD - got there at 11am and it was full and therefore closed to new entrants until 4pm.

We love the water parks and usually do at least 3 visits in a 2 week trip. This short trip (10 days) we managed to do Typhoon Lagoon and Aquatica and would say both are great fun but TL migtht be a bit better for younger ones as Aquatica has a lot of quick or dark rides and the crazy river (not the lazy river) might be scary for a non or poor swimmer

(We = myself and DH, no kids - they've grown and flown the nest!)
