Enough to keep a 3 year old busy? Web page lists 3 things that look like the little ones might like. Wave pool, an area for under 48 inches tall only, and some other structure that dumps water down on you and such.....

It does not look like there is any characters to greet or anything. No shows.

Anyone have insights of this park with little ones? I have a Grover Pass for included entry but wondering if hitting a Diz park again is a better investment of time....

Walkabout Waters is SOOO much fun. There's plenty there to keep him entertained. There's also a smaller kiddie area for little ones. Unless he's a good swimmer, I'd stay out of Roa's River. There's a lazy river by the front of the park that goes past a fresh water fish tank and the dolphin tank.

There's no shows or characters, but the educators are there with different animal displays. And they do feedings throughout the day with the dolphins, so you can go up there to watch them do tricks and stuff.

I don't remember the height restriction on the family raft ride, but the one on the left is much milder than the one of the right (right has a straight path with several drops down, the left curves back and forth).

Last time we went to Aquatica, there were plenty of little ones. I guess it all depends on how your child feels about water. If he doesn't mind water all over his face, go and enjoy.

My daughter has been going since she was 3, and she LOVES Aquatica!!! She doesn't like water on her face so she isn't a big fan of the Lazy River or slides with waterfalls. She LOVES the kiddie area. They have very mild slides in that section. She loves watching the Commerson's Dolphins and touching the other animals. It's definitely a fun place for ALL ages!!

My DS was 3 on our last trip and he loved Aquatica. We even took him on Roas Rapids with a life vest, he thought is was great fun!
Walkabout Waters is fantastic for them too, there are water guns and small slides they can go on.
I'm sure that you will all love it!
