and We have e-tickets so we are allowed to bypass the lines to get in ....... I read that somewhere but cant find it and dont know what that really means right now......

Can someone enlighten me? Thanks.

The only lines you can bypass are the ticket windows where you buy tickets. You will have to wait in all other lines with the rest of us. They are still closing early. We went on a Sat and they closed by 10am.

I thought I read that by bypassing the ticket window you were able to get in earlier......Maybe I am finally losing my mind lol.

Adv purchase tickets lets you enter 1 hour b4 posted opening. So you can go in at 8. On a weekend you may well find a significant line waiting to get in at 8..... In my experience so far, weekdays have been a bit less.

Bypass lines....not exactly.

Insider Tips

  • With multi-park tickets you can visit as much as you want, when you want during your vacation (tickets expire 14 days after first use) - DAY or NIGHT
  • Purchase tickets in advance to receive early access to Aquatica starting at 8:00 am or come late and play late. Visit after 4:00 pm to enjoy cooler weather and faster ride access.

Closed for capacity Monday, the last day I was able to check. As far as I know, it has closed early just about EVERY day this Summer.

The test for weekdays will be next Monday (8/18), when a significant number of kids seem to return to school. As for Saturday/Sunday, no one can really know, of course, but I expect early closings until at least Thanksgiving.

I don't think they advertise this fact, Captain, but at least on weekends they let people in at 7:45 if not a little earlier. I've given up going on the weekends, but if I was, I would be there (with my pre-purchased ticket) by 7:30 at the latest.

I'd say that's true...arriving shortly after 8 and seeing the # inside it would appear they are opening a bit b4 - with few complaints. The earliest I've heard of closing for capacity is around 10 tho...

We were there at 7:30 and the parking booths were still closed. They didn't open until 7:45. When we got to the park opening the ticket windows were open!! I thought the whole point of opening a hour early was for the people with pre-purchased tickets!! I was a little ticked that they got in the same time as all the people who pre-purchased their tickets!
