We are planning a multi family trip to WDW/ Universal from Dec 15th to the 20th.......Does anyone know if they still keep the water super warm in December? Has anyone been mid-December? Crowds?

TIA!;)

Yes, they do keep the water in the low 80s. Unfortunately, they cannot do the same for the air. ;)

Crowds are nonexistent. Mostly British people, with a handful of license plates in the parking lot from Michigan/Minnesota. I may well have been the only Annual Passholder in the park! I enjoyed using up my vacation days last year, I would have a row of beach chairs to myself--very relaxing.

Sometimes you can come across really nice warm weather in december... and other times it's bitter cold.

But if you're only here for 5 days... it'll be pretty hard to fit all that stuff in to begin with. I'd say put the money towards the Christmas party at MK... it is till midnight, but at least that doesn't depend on the weather. Although rain might be a damper on the parade.
And if you think about it... if you go to the parks on a party day you get from 9-7pm, 10hrs, and the parties you can get up to 8hrs in the park with a smaller crowd.
