I am SUCH a chicken when it comes to any ride with a drop...how bad are the drops on the Aquamouse on the Wish? I can handle a drop like Pirates or Frozen, but more than that I turn into a total baby lol 😂

It's certainly NOTHING like Pirates or Frozen. You're in a raft with a manageable speed on a reasonably long descent. No PLUNGS into water or anything like that. The hardest part, for me, was getting out of the raft when the ride was over. I was unable to secure a 'graceful' return to the deck. ha. Hope you try it at least once...and that your trip is terrific!

I didn't think it was that scary. I don't think it was that much worse Frozen. I put a video that might be helpful below. I liked it better than the Aquaduck. It was great on a port day, no lines. We rode it several times in a row.

My huband tenses up so much on the drop on Pirates and Frozen that I'm usually afraid he'll pull a muscle. I just read him your post and he said..."NO ISSUES". He said it's a little scary at the top becuase it's a little dark and you don't know what's coming, but it is zero problem.

I agree with PP that I'm always more worried about being able to gracefully exit the raft at the end. But if I can do it, I think anyone can.

Here is the situation~ big time chicken and afraid of heights. On the 9nt. med on the Dream. We befriend a dcl cast member on the deck- Lindell -for our time on the ship. He is like-you have never been on the AquaDuck? Me- I don't want to get stuck... And I don't like heights. Well, he urged me to give it a go. I figured after climbing to the top of the Acropolis, riding the gondola in Santorini (so steep) and up the winding roads of everywhere we traveled, I might as well. I was still alive. So off I went, change into the swim suit. I rode the raft with my husband, as my landing was fine, but getting out of that raft was worse than hauling myself out of my kayak. But it was fun. Nothing scary with drops or anything like that. And I was happy I did it-once. LOL Will I do the AquaMouse when I am on the Wish in November? We shall see...

I went on the aquamouse by myself first to see how it was, my husband was skeptical about riding it. It’s not that bad and I didn’t even get wet. So we ride together with him in back and I am in the front, he gets nothing and I get soaked and was not expecting that. Yes, like others have said it’s difficult getting out of the raft. The CMs saw we were having issues but did not help us out of the raft, others in line just looked at us like you people are too old. We went after we got back from CC before lunch and no long lines, this is also a good time to use the adult pool.

My fear of both the Aquaduck and Aquamouse is about getting wet! Especially as a glasses wearer. I will be on the Fantasy next April. I don't think I'll ride based on videos I've seen where people definitely get very wet at one point but if anyone has a different experience I would love to hear about it!

Glasses wearer as well. I did not wear them on the ride. You do get wet on the Aquaduck. At least the person in the back. You get hit with a huge wave of water a some point. Soaked. As expected though. It is a water ride after all.

Have any Pooh shaped people been on this ride, is there any chance your boat will get stuck if you are too heavy?

I'm a big dude (6', 300+). Me and my wife were able to share a raft with no issues. Are you going to look graceful getting in and out of the raft? Absolutely not, but I don't think anyone does and no one cares. Enjoy it!
