I was looking at buying a few of these. I've read some reviews on line but has anyone here used them and if so, are they worth the money?

We use them and they work great. My friend had them, and then my mom saw them, and decided she needed them. You just need to be sure to dig a little hole into the dirt so it doesn't get clogged, you have to do it on an angle. We change the water in the globe about every 2 weeks. Why not just buy one set and see how you like them? I paid $10 for a pack of 2 from one of those stores that sells a little bit of everything, so it's not that much money.

I've been using them for almost a year. Instead of watering my plants every week, I can go two weeks. :thumbsup2

I have them - they work, but you do have to be careful not to clog the end with dirt. Got them at Wal Mart.

My wife reports that they don't really work; it is way too easy for the ends to get clogged with dirt rendering them useless.

I use them for my indoor plants and they work really well. To stop them from getting "clogged with dirt" you can make a primer hole with a pencil. My house is very dry, though, and I have heard they do not work as well in high humidity. I don't know if they would work well outside.

My friend's parents bought some- she said they don't work.
