I know a lot of local schools are out, but still, closed by 11:30 (might even have been earlier, that's just when I happened to drive by) on a Thursday!

I have heard, but have not confirmed, that this only means that the parking lot--not the park itself--has closed. So theoretically you could take a cab or the trolley in, or just park at SW and hike the two blocks over (no sidewalks, tho, be careful). But this is definitely something to keep in mind if you're planning a trip this month and probably won't be much different come Summer.

It's been at capacity every day for the past two (if not three) weeks! Sometimes just the parking lot is closed, sometimes the park is closed to new admissions, but if you have a pre-purchased pass you can get in and take a shuttle from Sea World.

Great fun! But, crowded - as can be expected for a brand new park.
