Can you still purchase APs at the Disney Store in the Orlando Airport? I would rather stop and purchase at the Airport Disney Store than stop at a park or downtown Disney.

Thanks a bunch...20 days and counting..

If you can, I beleive they'd only be the "exchange certificates" - as I don't beleive they would be linked to the WDW system. Meaning you would still have to stop at a park or DTD to activate them.

Someone please correct me if I am mistaken.

When did that change?

It used to be that you could actually buy an activated AP at the airport, but you just couldn't turn in a voucher you bought elsewhere or anything like that.

Wouldn't surprise me if that changed, but I do know that is how it used to work.

It wasn't that long ago that you could purchase activated APs at many offsite locations including the airport Disney shops and the mall Disney outlet locations. But like most everything else with regards to ticketing, it changed shortly after MYW came into being. You now get a voucher at all of the offsite locations where you previously got an activated AP.

Yesterday A Castmember verified the observation made by TRS6 and Goldenoldie. You used to be able to buy activated APs at Earport, but now, only locations linked to the Disney ticketing system can issue activated passes. Currently those locations are only onsite. :)
