If something is starting at $849 and it’s not an increased price for gold, I suspect it’s a new silver type, more restricted access pass for out of state guests. Perhaps with mixed benefits such as parking is included but not dining discounts. Then for the cost of the upgrade to platinum, they have an optional TIW-lite add on, which of course will not be only $150 difference in price.

Fast passes for a week and alternative DME transportation for those who don’t want to take car seats and this has increased the cost of a comparable vacation for a week for a family of 4 by $500!!!

All in the name of “flexibility”.

Taking away the Fast Pass advance booking also takes away a big incentive to stay on property or at a Good Neighbor. You can just stay off property and pay for it.

The advantages to staying at All Stars are now just the morning entry and the transportation to the parks.

You do get a jump on getting a FP that morning as resort guests can book at 7 am, Off site, not until they get to the park.

I am really happy with the deluxe only late night hours. That's so few people, I think that could be incredible.

I know. Was just trying to say as a resort guest you get a small benefit…Now, we will see how long it takes to raise ticket prices, If they hold off for a while, that will soften the blow for the first year.

My hope is that we can do it for some days and not others so we can park hop, take advantage of certain rides and not do others.

I know! I am the one who will have to get up at 7am. Not happy at all about that. Last trip, I just told my family that I couldn't get ROTR--I didn't even set the alarm to get up and try! But I don't think I can pull that with the FPs.
