APs and Tables in Wonderland/DDE

I apologize if this has already been asked - I did a search but couldn't find anything.

Right now, DH and I have plain old seven-day park hoppers. We plan on upgrading to the AP when we get to Disney in October (MNSSHP! YAY!). Will the CMs be able to add on Tables in Wonderland/DDE for me right there when I upgrade to the AP? Or do they need some sort of advance notice to send me a card in the mail or something?

Tables in Wonderland is the new name for the DDE (Disney Dining Experience), not the DDP. But if you are asking about the TIW/DDE card (which saves you 20% at TS including alcoholic drinks plus a couple of CS places), you can buy it at Guest Services when you get your AP. No advance notice needed. HTH
 
guest relations at any park including the back of Epcot coming in from International gateway......we got our voucher for AP's in the mail (so we paid for them in advance) and then got the actual AP cards when we went up to the window. (they started that day) Then turned around and purchased the DDE card.
