April - which week

So my DH and I are heading to Vegas in April. I was looking at arriving either Sun. Apr. 18 or Sun Apr. 25 and staying for 5 nights. I prefer the 18th but I am finding the hotel prices to be extremely high that weekend, specifically MGM Grand. What is going on in Vegas that would do that? I see there is a convention for Oracle users...that can't be it can it?

I figured it out. I wasn't googling properly
MGM Grand is hosting the 45th ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS. That is why they are practically sold out. So we switched to Wynn.
