Hi

I need comments regarding crowds. We are planning a trip to WDW, either
the last week of April, or second week of May. We've we were there last year in May and it was just great.

But this year easter is so early, do you think that crowds would be lower in the lat week of April than usual ? Or should we stick to May ?

It's really hard to say for sure how the crowds will be, but it seems like a lot of NY schools have off the last week in April. One of the new england states also has a lot of school breaks.

We are going at the end of April with family, but if we had a choice, we'd choose the second week in May.

I would do May b/c most school's spring break's are over by then. Also, if you go in May Soarin', Cindarellabration and the Motor stunt show will be open!! -Steph

I was so hoping that you would have said that end of April is fine :) It's just that if we decide to go on April, that would save us some money, because of the airfares....darn this is so hard to decide.

How about codes, are April codes out yet ? I'm assuming we are gonna get some discounts for the spring time :)

We are going the end of April (23-30). With the new celebration starting on May 5th, I figure its a crap-shoot, of which time will be busiest.

We went in May a few years ago, and loved the weather, and low crowds.

Hi !

We were there last year on May (12-18) and it was just great, fantastic weather, low crowds etc. But now I think we will take our chances and try end of April, 23-30 to be excact :)

WE have been in the second week in May and have found it to be a great time to visit WDW. The crowds were manageable and weather was perfect!!

We are also going the last week in April and were hoping it would not be too bad.
I look at it this way... it may end up being more crowded than I had hoped but... maybe the weather will be at least a little cooler, we got a pretty good deal on air fare and I really can't change it anyway :D
I also , at the time, thought it might be more crowded than usual in May due to the 50th celebration. I"m now starting to think that that is not going to make much of a difference but this is WDW.... so you never know
:D

If you are REALLY worried about crowds - May is better. However if you have your heart set on April - and rates are cheaper for you I say do that. Either way it is a nice time of year and you will have fun. May is defintely less crowded but end of April things should be starting to slow down from spring breaks....
