When would be the least crowd of the two months to go??

For 2009? Since Easter is in April next year (wish it was always the 3rd Sun. in April or something like that) I'd say May. Most spring breaks take place around Easter. We spent 4 days in DLR late last month and it was great, but I think it had to do with the fact that Easter was in March this year.

Generally speaking the closer to summer the bigger the crowds, with the exceptions of Holiday weekends as they are always crowded.

I like cold days as people just empty out at night and as long as you are dressed for it the tradeoff is rather appealing.

I would do a non holiday time during April but May isn't too bad either.

Definitely May, during the week, not near Memorial Day. Much of April (especially early-mid April) is dominated by Spring Break crowds.

i like the week after spring break. we were there for the last weekend and the first few days after. OMG what a difference!!!! The crowds went from a 10 to a 3. There was a serious drop!!!!!
