April, May, June AP Watch. Let's Get it Started

I got Poly gardenview in May for $255 with tax. When I called I was looking for YC but there was nothing available for my dates even and Rack rate! I've never stayed at Poly, so this will new and fun for me!

There was no availabilty at Pop for my dates in April under the AP rate, but there was under the BBY rate. It was $82.50 with tax. Better than rack. I'll take it!

Just like amymouse, I was able to get the AP rate for the Poly garden view at $229/night ($255 including tax). We're planning to go in June. This saved about $900 off of the AAA discounted rate and almost $200 off of the next best rate that was available.

DONE! Around thirty minutes on hold. I got my Pop Century Visa discount for $77, they applied the new AP discount instead for $66 so I got $22 credited back to my Visa. They kept the same reservation numbers. (This was for our first and last nights in between our stay at BWV.) I am now officially cheap! LOL But, I made $22 for thirty minutes while I surfed the net waiting for my turn. I am a sucker for those discount codes! I was tempted to book POFQ instead, but my 6 year old is really excited about Pop Century. Go figure....

No AP discounts for Polynesian LV Concierge.
Anyone else have any luck with Poly LVC?

I did get a great rate for our first three days at AKL. Saved about $250 off of our AAA discount.

I go the AP rate applied to my WL woodsview in June ($139/night or $154.99 w/tax). The best part is I never even had to pick up the phone. I just logged on to Dreams Unlimited and my reservation was updated by 8:45. Thanks Beth C.!!!!!!!

I'm making notes because next year I'll be the one with the existing reservation that I'm trying to convert to an AP rate. From the posts I've seen so far, it looks like if I want Yacht Club in late May/early June, I'll have to pay close to rack...doesn't seem like (at least this year) anyone is getting Yacht Club standard at low rates.

No luck with GV concierge at Polynesian either AND we were on the phone and speaking with a reservationist at 7:15 a.m.! There were neither LV nor GV available at that time for 6/10-19/04. I was able to (or could have if I had taken it) get GV concierge for 6/16, 17, & 18/04 at AP rate--only saved $15 over my current DVisa rate. It wasn't worth it to me because I've got people in our family using UPH. That would have cost us more to change passes, cancel reservations, etc.--not worth the $15 for the potential hassle AND risk the rates would be messed up!

I will keep checking though--it's a long way until June!

The AP rate for BWI water view compared to the VISA rate only saved me $59.00 for the week. Oh well, I'll take the $59.00 and spend it on my granddaughter!

I changed from CSR to AKL.....I don't know if I am happy or not....I really wanted to try CSR, but I guess we will save that for our next trip........

AKL $124 a night - 4 night total $553.00, not bad.

I just switched from Disney Visa rate to AP rate and saved another $55 on my room (5 nights) at the Poly in June. The best thing is that now I can pay off my bill in cash if I want, not "tied" to the Visa...
