You know, I bought DVC so I wouldn't have to deal with the code rate. And what did I do? I went to Disney so many times, that I don't have enough points for an entire stay in May (and I don't want to borrow my points).
So now I'm playing the waiting game with everyone. I forgot how much I hate it--I like to plan in advance. I do have a room booked at Pop, but I'm hoping for a decent AP rate for the AKL so I can continue on my quest to stay at all Disney Resorts.
That is EXACTLY my problem!!! In fact, I've used up all of my points, and all of my borrowed points , and therefore, I'm here waiting for a code (and I'll be back waiting for one in January, too!!)

Me too!!! I'm already into my '07 pts for a trip in Oct. But that one is really special, so I didn't mind going into point debt. But not for those quickie last minute trips!!! Come on already, bring on those AP rates...I'm getting older by the minute here!
Do the CMs really know anything? Every single one I've talked to has had a different story.
Not to but when a code does come out do people really post here right away? I mean..doesn't that offset their chances of getting a code. Or do they just post after they've gotten their code and room?

I called today to try and send out feelers. The CM was great and said..."I wish they would come out already" and I said.."yeah you must be getting lots of calls" and she said "you have no idea..but it would be nice if they came out for everyone all around-so you could plan ahead and what not"
She did say she had no idea, but maybe next week as that puts us 2 months before these set of codes are to end. But she was grasping at straws. She also said it might not be until closer to when these codes are up.
But she did say and seem to think there WOULD be some sort of code. It was just a matter of when. Which I guess we all kind of thought or figured anyways.
Long story short...there is not crystal or magic 8 ball and I don't think the CM's really know. So we are back to waiting again and again. I feel like a little kid.
Subscribing to this thread also. We are AP holders for the first time this year and I'm trying to book May 29--June 4th. I also have AAA but I was assuming the better rate would be from AP. I don't have a reservation right now so I hope I can get one with a discount when they come out.
Booked for May, POR at AAA rate which was 165/night. Did this through Disney directly. They book it as if it were a room only but I also bought tix which will be associated to room so it's same convenience as package but advantage of being able to cancel for full refund on room up to 5 days before and tix cancel any time for full refund. This is much better than package which has a much different cancellation policy. I don't think I'm missing any other advanatages versus the package but if someone knows of any, please let me know so I can re-evaluate.
Most of you probably know this info but I'm just posting for others like me who are learning.
By the way, I'm not yet a AAA member, I will just need to be and present my card at check-in. Maybe a code will come along in teh meantime so I can save some $ but if not, guess what, WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!
I finally gave up on codes and booked one room at AAA rate and one FL Resident. I'll change them if I can later. I'd love to be able to book now for December and I may but it sure would be nice to know what the rates are. It would affect my choice of resort.
