Hey guys!

So on Sunday while relaxing me and the gf came to the conclusion that it has been too long since we have been at Disney! So we called up and booked our hotel All-Star sports for two nights. The main reason for going is that the girlfriend has never been to flower and Garden Festival and we are coming up on our block out dates.

normally I use W DW for crowd calendars but from what I've seen they're no longer creating them. I checked into other crowd calendars but they seem to disagree with one another on what parks to visit each day. So I was looking for some advice or critiques on how to schedule out my trip

My current plan is

Mon HS then EP
Now days we only last about 3-4 hours in HS partially due to the fact that the girlfriend does not do roller coasters.

Tues AK then EP
We would really like to do Epcot twice, the downside of doing it in the evening again is that we will not get to experience rivers of light which we have never seen. I'm assuming that the food booths at flower and Garden Festival do not open until 11 AM like the promenade so going to Epcot in the morning seems like a waste.

Wed MK

What days in April are you planning on going? Things that can impact crowd levels are school breaks and extra magic hours, which will vary.

HS is definitely doable as a half day park, however I will say Fantasmic is awesome! Spending more than one day at EPCOT is a good idea, as even without the Flower and Garden extras it can be hard to see everything in a day.

If neither of you are big into the rides, then your plan seems okay (although you are limiting yourself to only seeing Illuminations). However, you should note that if you do want to go on things like Soarin or Test Track, those rides are better line wise first thing in the morning. Animal Kingdom on the other hand seems to be the opposite (at least pre-Rivers of Light it did), as the park always felt less crowded at night...

I was at EPCOT the first week of F and G and I found earlier in the day when the booths just open to be better. I did them for lunch so was at EPCOT from open ( did some rides ) then went back at 11 and got done around 4 you could have you FP fro AK aatarting around 5 or 6 and have one for ROL

I agree that the booths for F&G were best at lunch. Why not consider one AM at Epcot and one PM?

Going April 24-26

Not a huge fantasmic fan so probably wouldn't go see it anyways (don't lynch me!)

So plans changed a little because I was able to grab a Rivers of Light FP+ for the 2nd night were there :D

So now Tues

EP then AK

But you all have me thinking maybe Monday should go

EP then HS followed by the boardwalk or even Disney Springs OR if we get bored enough at HS we can head back to EP that evening

I will be at Disney the same time as you. I. will be there maybe starting maybe the 19 ( if I can get off work), but defiantly starting the 24-29 ) and I am doing the same thing EPCOT in the morning followed by AK and ROL. I think this will be less crowded fro you as there seems to be a lot of locals going after work.

Just added another day lol

Going up Sunday 23 to Wed 26

We have weekday passes so Sunday we will do Disney Springs.

We are thinking of trying Planet Hollywood (I know I've heard the bad reviews) but I'm mostly interested in the desserts. It's still up in the air though

Then we will check in,

Head to the campgrounds for dinner at P&Js southern Takeout (we love this!) we spent some time at the campgrounds on our last trip we are thinking seriously about buying a travel trailer exclusively for trips to Disney. Maybe chip & dales campfire? (Never done it)

The girlfriend loves trader sams grotto so we will try to make it there as well because we didn't last trip

Are you guys fans of Wishes? This trip will be the last opportunity to see it ever....

We have seen it several times, To be honest the last few trips we have chosen to watch it from Gastons (aka we don't get to see the castle show) because it's our favorite firework viewing area (despite the fact that we end up deaf at the end)

Made a reservation for planet Hollywood observatory, Cancelled it 15 minutes later after reading reviews and seeing that the shake I wanted was close to $15

I don't mind splurging on vacations but that's two delicious treats at Sprinkles
