It's no APRIL FOOLS DAY for my family. We are going to Disney April 1st thru April 9th and I can't wait. This is my first PTR so please be patient with me. I wanted to do this PTR not only to share my plans but also to post pictures of all the great things I have made with the help of the wonderful designers on the creative boards.
Who: Me (33), my DH (35) and our DS (7). My Mom (MeMe) and my two nieces DD9 and DD11. We are the "Traveling Six" who go every where together. (My nieces are like daughters to me so you will see me refer to them as daughters during my planning but it's just because we are so close and do everything together.)
When: April 1 thru 9, 2011
Where: Fort Wilderness Camp Ground - this will be our first time staying at the Camp Ground and we are so looking forward to it.
Here is a quick look at our schedule so far. My Mom does not like to PLAN and doesn't want to be tied down to a set schedule. I'm the total opposite so I'm trying to meet in the middle. Therefore, I am limiting our ADR's and such to just the "REALLY REALLY Important" things I know the kids will enjoy and not want to miss.
Day 1 (Friday, April 1): We have decided not to send the kids to school on Friday and get an early start instead. Travel to Disney arriving at the Fort around 5:00.
Day 2 (Saturday, April 2): EPCOT
Day 3 (Sunday, April 3): Magic Kingdom
Day 4 (Monday, April 4): Hollywood Studios
Day 5 (Tuesday, April 5): Universal Studios
Day 6 (Wednesday, April 6): Animal Kingdom
Day 7 (Thursday, April 7): Islands of Adventure
Day 8 (Friday, April 8): Downtown Disney and Fort Wilderness - Option to return to any Disney Park the kids feel they may have missed something at.
Day 9 (Saturday, April 9): Return Home
I will add details and pictures soon. Please feel free to post suggestions and tips. We have all been to Disney before, however, this will be the first trip the kids really will remember. They were 3 months, 2 and 4 the last time we were at Disney and we were only there for 2 days.
