April Fools Day - post your prank here!

DD cut up paper making confetti, placed it on the ceiling fan so when her dad turned on the light & fan the paper went everywhere..

she also took his deodrant cut off the top replaced it with cream cheese, ( oh sticky pits)

Now that is being creative! :rotfl:

I baked a pan of corn bread and frosted it with choc. frosting and set it out at work. Everyone thought is was yellow cake until they tasted it.

April 1 just happens to be my husband's birthday, I am going to do this and present it as his birthday cake. :lmao:

I am an April Fool's B-Day girl, too!!!

I have always had pranks pulled on me...it is soo sad!!

There is kind of a light-bulb joke that goes on between my DH and me. Quite frankly - I just don't change lightbulbs. Not unless I HAVE to, i.e. a critical light and DH is out of town.

FWIW - I know how to do it, I choose not to.

But back to the topic at hand, and this was DD's brilliant idea.

She unscrewed the 2 lightbulbs (but left them in the light sockets) in the bathroom that DH uses when he gets home from work. HE WAS NOT HAPPY, and had the audacity of accusing me (his lovely wife of 17 years) of having the bulbs burn out on me, and then me not changing them. I have no idea how he got that idea;)

Actually, it's been a couple of years since that one, we might just do that one again!

I pulled a time slot change on the Grey's addicted sister, told her it got moved up a night due to sports and she finds out I made her watch DWTS

I just got my kids with a couple little ones. I told my daughter a horse was roaming through the backyard and she shot to the window to see. Then she got me later on with a similar type joke. We grilled brats and hotdogs for dinner but instead of putting their hot dogs in the bun I put a big thick stick. They looked at me like I had lost my mind. ;) Wasted two buns on that trick but it was worth it.

The prank went like this...............

I entered the hospital, I had surgery, I delivered a 10lb 5oz boy. 21 YEARS AGO TODAY :scared1: :scared1:

I CANNOT BE THAT OLD:sad1:

My dd's whose 4 thought it was great telling me I had a pine cone on my head and then saying in her cool, but funny voice "April Fooools Mom", it was so cute. :goodvibes Hey, she's 4.

Anyone else see google's Tisp??

My nephew, who's 10, got his parents soooo good :)

You know the little sprayer that's next to the kitchen faucet? Hopefully your faucet/sink is set up that way. Well, he put a rubber band tightly around the sprayer so that it was "on" and kept it in its normal position, aimed outward -- basically aimed at anyone who was standing at the sink. Everyone who walked up and turned on the sink got a small blast of water.

No one got hurt or soaked ... just a little spray of water and a big surprise!

I'll tell you, the kid's brilliant. Not only did he think this one up all by himself and get both parents with it at different times, when he was around five, I asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up. He said he wanted to work for NASA (we're close by). I said, "Oh, yeah? You want to go up in space?" He said, "No. I want to build the space ships." :thumbsup2

DS6 & I pulled this one on DH today :rotfl2: We didn't fill little sis in on it because she tends to rat us out :rolleyes1 I was at work but called home and had a "normal" conversation with DH....what did you & the kids do today, what do you want for supper, etc. Finally after about 5 minutes he says "Yea, I got soaked!!!" I had to laugh. I asked how the kids reacted and he said they were rolling on the kitchen floor with laughter! When I spoke to my son he said it was a riot. When I asked if daddy was mad he said uh, yup! But he did laugh about it with them. He said he thought the faucet was broke at first till he saw the elastic  Must remember to watch my back now :thumbsup2

My husband took cottonballs and dipped them in chocolate and made "candy" and gave them to the kids.

We did the faucet one on DH. We were in the other room, but I heard the swear from in there. :rotfl2: The kids spent the entire day taping things up - the salt and pepper shakers, the toilet lid, the soap dispenser. They said there are at least three pranks we have not found yet.
