Hey! Made my dining reservations this morning for our trip April 12-20. It's me, my mom, DS11, and DD9. Staying at the CR with a TPV...so excited! How do these look?

Friday 4/12 arrival day...no reservations. Figured we grab CS at the hotel or maybe hit DTD for Wolfgang Pucks Express or Earl of Sandwich.

Saturday 4/13 7:30 am Breakfast at Chef Mickeys and 5:05 pm dinner at The Plaza. I know some people hate CM but its kind of our tradition to start there and then hit the MK.

Sunday 4/14 dinner at 50s Prime Time...I'm not sure if we'll like the food here but lots of people like it so I guess we'll give it a shot. My other option was to go to Mama Melrose, but we are going to do Italian the next day so we'll give it a whirl.

Monday 4/15 dinner at Via Napoli...hears LOTS of good things about this place...hope it lives up to the hype!

Tuesday 4/16 dinner at the Wave...was really debating between this and Kona...I could still change it I guess if anyone convinces me to!

Wednesday 4/17 breakfast at Ciniderella's Royal Table. Me and my kids have been here a couple times and honestly, I'm totally underwhelmed with the food here. However, my mom has never eaten in the castle and I wanted her to try it at least once.

No dinner reservations this night...maybe just do CS somewhere.

Thursday 4/18 dinner at Be Our Guest...have seen the menu and it really looks unappealing, but we are HUGE Beauty and the Beast fans...I HAVE to try it!

Friday 4/19 breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:05 am...we all love it here, plus we love getting into the MK early. As you can see, we LOVE the MK and will spend most of our time here!

I am planning on doing DDP and paying OOP for one dinner, probably The Plaza??

Thoughts? Suggestions? Am I missing anything??? Thanks for reading!

I think The Plaza is a good choice to pay OOP. In terms of wavering between Wave and Kona, I haven't been to The Wave yet but I absolutely love Kona, not to mention I always enjoy an excuse to visit the Poly:thumbsup2.

I still may switch back to Kona which was my first thought to begin with. What concerns me is there were some recent posts around here saying how horrible the service was there. Now I don't know what to do!

We ate at Prime Time on our last visit, and honestly, it was awful. It used to be a staple for us to go there, and now we'll never go back. The food came out within 10 minutes of ordering, everything tasted...well, like a TV dinner. If that's their objective, great. But with all the other dining choices that have tasty food, I'd rather avoid Prime Time. Just my opinion, though!

Thanks for your comment...I am worried about this one too. Where would you suggest instead of 50s PT? We ate at the Sci-Fi drive in last time and have no desire to go back, as we really like to see our food when we are eating....we just didn't like sitting basically in the dark and eating. Thanks!

we'll be there the same week! Another suggestion on your DHS day is to take the boat over to the Beach club and eat at Cape may! yummy! Instead of the Wave I would do Ohana ::yes::

:thumbsup2 We are also going to be there that week, and totally agree with Ohana.

I changed the Wave to Kona today...I looked at the menu for Ohana and that's not my favorite kind of food, although it sounds like a fun place :). I'm still confused about where to eat at DHS. We've been to Mama Melrose in the past and I thought the food there was okay. But I don't want to eat Italian two nights in a row, plus my kids love Pizza Planet so I think eating Italian food in the same day will just be too much. I'm also thinking that maybe we should do the Fantasmic package, but aside form MM, what would our options be?

take the boat from DHS to Beach club and eat at Cape may!!! Something for everyone and its close by:thumbsup2

I think the other Fantasmic options are The Brown Derby or Hollywood & Vine.
I think you made a great choice switching to Kona, it's always fun to visit the Poly and you will have already been to the Contemporary for Chef Mickeys.

I am happy we switched to Kona, it just feels right. I've never been to H&V or The Brown Derby. Are either of these places any good? I think I recall H&V not getting very good reviews.

We don't want to take the boat to Cape May because we aren't seafood eaters and it looks like there's a lot of seafood in that buffet. I think I'd also like to stay in the park to eat and maybe stick around for Fantasmic since my mom has never seen it. Thanks!
