April Chicago DIS meet----where are we going to meet??

Not too sure if we can make it now!!!

I thought we would be able to skip the family bowling league we have that day and just pre-bowl. BUT......it will be the 2nd to last bowl and they will be giving out info regarding the last bowl and trophy party held on the same day.
I don't think we can miss out on it.

I was thinking we could go early to Gurnee and meet everyone for lunch and then leave. But I don't think that would allow us enough time for the drive all the way back home in order to get to bowling on time

Not sure what to do now.

I suppose that if we all meet by 12noon for lunch that would allow for enough time to eat/chat and get back to Orland Park in time to bowl.

But of course there has been no lunch meet time set.....yet.

There are several great area restaurants not too far from Gurnee Mills. Just about a mile west on Rte 132 (Grand Ave.) there is a wonderful, not expensive, Italian restaurant, Salutos, and the Backyard Steak Pit next door. Near the CB are several chain restaurants - Olive Garden, Outback, Joe's Crab Shack.

Krispy Kream opened on the north side of Grand, across from the CB - for those of you needing a fix!

PM or e-mail me if you want any other Gurnee info. Don't think I'll be able to meet you, already have plans for that day, but if they fall through I'll be there!

I know we will all be going to the mall for the meet.
So all you camra bugs, make sure you have film,battries.
And then there are you digtal fans,battries,smart media,compact flash,ect and battries.
