Hi everyone-

Here is what is up for grabs for the April Challenge:

TONS of stickers- I went for Spring & of course, Disney
Lots of Mrs. Grossman's flower stickers- tulips, iris, pansies, geraniums, etc
Bug stickers
Mini- butterfly stickers
Some Easter bunnies with Eggs
Carrots- little- cute for sprinkling here and there
A pastel strip of design lines in cute pastel patterns

Disney stickers includes some Mrs. G's glittery castle stickers
A huge block sheet that includes a carousel, ferris wheel, roller coaster, rocket jets
Some stickers I bought last month at WDW- this includes a strip of MGM, MK & Epcot- has some really cute ones!! I used a ton in my Disney scrapbook
Some Animal Kingdom stickers that include Pooh, Tigger, Piglet & Eeyore- doesn't have anything park specific, but would look nice on an AK page as Pooh & friends are in their jungle gear and it has some tropical birds, flowers etc.

I also am including some cool journaling boxes I got with a Creative Memories order- they are little lines squares in different colors- makes for simple journaling. It comes with mounting paper too, and 2 little clear envelopes to put souveniers like matchbooks, tickets, etc in, that you don't want to glue down, but would like to keep.

It doesn't end yet----some cute, patterned 8 1/2 x 11 pastel papers..perfect for baby or Spring

And some page toppers- this is misc...I ordered this HUGE amount from Home Shopping Network last fall and I have more than I know what to do with!! I think it came with 100 or so! So I'm going to include 7+ fun page toppers and journaling boxes.

Have Fun! We'll see who the winner is on May 1st. To anyone new, the rule is that whoever completes the most pages in the month of April wins the above goodies. Whoever the winner is supplies scrapbook supplies for the next month's winner. :jester:

I'm In! Maybe I will actually FINISH a page this month (lol).

I hope to get more than the 55 I did last month done but we'll see what happens! I'm working on a book for a friend's birthday which isn't until July but I'd like to get it done so I can continue working on kids' stuff and those wedding pictures, and....

Deb

I'm in this month also. I need some motivation. I have over 100 picutres cropped, all I need to do is get them in the album. Good luck everyone.

I'm in for April and I already have 10 done!
Since that's about how many I usually get done in a month I'll have to try hard to keep working at it.

I'm gonna give it a go this month, too. I haven't done any pages since January so it's time to get going again. And there should be nothing stopping me now because today I finally made it to CMC's to get more tape runner. Of course I ended up with a few other things too, like the Disney Snap Pack - couldn't resist - and the new Titletopia.

Well I am at 6 for this month, I am now have all my current pics done so I am going back-way back (10 years) and will scrap from then to 1999-whoaaaa!!
Should be fun!

I am organized and ready to scrap -
I have 12 pages done so far this month!
:)

I'm sending positive and motivating scrapping vibes to everyone>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I am waiting to buy my new CM album before I do any more scrapping. I did do some serious organizing this morning. I bought a large folding table at Costco, which luckily JUST fit into my Subaru station wagon. (My kids thought it was hilarious being scrunched up in the back sit with a table covering their heads....) I also went to Target and bought two stackable drawer sets, one small for my tape runners, special pens, misc stuff, and one large enough to fit 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper, but I put die cuts in one, ZIG pens in one, and photos I'm working on in the other. I already had another one of these, which has scissors in one drawer, my CM cutting templates in one, and my square maker and some odds and ins in another. I also bought 4 plastic in and out type trays that stack and I put my alphabet stickers, books & templates, page toppers and small papers in each thing...I have a letter sorter that I have my paper sorted by color in that...I feel quite organized now! I just need to sort out my stickers. Plus I bought a clip on lamp and a cute Mickey picture frame that was on clearance at Target and I put a very sweet picture of my husband and older son, who is holding my younger son on the day he came home from the hospital. Awww. Oh, and a bought a corkboard to hang above to put a calendar, special events, CM newsletters, etc on. The best part- I only spent about $85!! Now I just need a nice office chair and I will be set! Before I just had everything set up on a card table, and it was big enough to store my stuff on, but not big enough to actually work at. I'm very pleased with myself! Tomorrow I am hoping for a Michael's coupon, cause I want to buy some of those AlphaStax and an organizer for them.

Have fun scrapping everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in this month too! I haven't started any pages this month yet, since my parents are here visiting, but as soon as they leave, I have those pictures to scrap! :)

Good luck everyone! :)

What great stuff!!
I'm in again too.
Haven't done any yet this month, but ready to get started!
I would be happy to just beat last month's total.

I'm a scrappin' fool. I have 32 done so far. :o

Wow! 32 is a great start. I managed to 10 Sunday and thought that was pretty good!

These monthly challenges are a great incentive. Just keeping track helps to realize how much is actually being accomplished.

Deb

32 is highly unusual for me, believe me! But my house was fairly clean last week so I "gave" myself several scrapping afternoons and then I kind of got my creative juices flowing and couldn't stop!!
Plus I'm seeing my SIL at Easter and she wants to see our last WDW trip so I'm trying to get as much done as I can.

So much to scrap - so little time -
it seems as though the more I get done the more I have to do! I got another 13 done this weekend - and with the snow tonight the DH will be out plowing to I hope to get a lot more done!
That puts me at- 25 what a great start!
My new camera is coming in the mail tomorrow so I will be on a photo kick them I am sure - I already bought b&W film to play with! :)

Patty

Whatcha get? Whatcha get? I love to play with new toys (that is what the kids call my camera and accessories).

Deb

Wow! Some people are off to great starts! It's only the 7th and 25 & 32 pages already! Way to go!

I must admit, I kick myself every time I see someone has posted to the "April Challange..." You would think I would know how to spell "challenge".(!)

I bought some of those Alpha Stax yesterday at Michaels- nifty idea! I bought some plastic bead sorter trays for $1.99 to store the letters in. For anyone who is interested, they had the whole alphabet of Sizzix (is that what it is called??) on sale for $109.

"Whatcha get? Whatcha get? I love to play with new toys (that is what the kids call my camera and accessories)."

Deb -
My first SLR camera - (my dh is besides himself- he doesn't understand why I need this when I already have a digital camera - a (broken) APS, and a (don't tell him but - broken - point and shoot 35mm)

I got a Nikon N65 with 28-90 and 80-300 lenses! I can't wait to learn how to use it - I hope my expectations are not to high!

It was a NIGHTMARE trying buy it though! 5 trips to the local RITZ and still no camera - VERY LONG STORY THERE! I ended up going through Ritz online - and when I talked to the lady on the phone (sale price wouldn't go through online  ) I ended up getting $ off for my inconvienence! :) It paid to complain! Nevermind I saved the tax money!

Tomorrow it should be here! YA!

I just got the Marvery letter and number punch set UPS today (1/2 off at Joannes.com)....I don't love it but I'll keep it..much smaller letters than I expected. I love mail!

Patty

Nice unit! I'm lucky because it was DH that bought my SLR as a Christmas gift after listening to me complain about pics - not getting shots I wanted. And he said he had built in gifts for occasions to come!

Derailing this thread but feel free to PM me if you want to "chat" cameras!

Definitely take a few (ok maybe a LOT) of experimental rolls - have a great resource for relatively inexpensive film.

Deb

I've got 5 pages done for the month so far. I spent all day working on one page today (and part of yesterday, too.) The subject was the very painful month that DH went through last month but also meaningful in our lives. I had so much to say on the one page that I actually made a mini book (14 3x3 pages) with just the journaling - actually parts of a journal I kept. Now it's time to get back to happy pages.

On a positive note, I got in some stuff I ordered from QVC last week. I think I'm going to love the Galaxy Markers. They came in 18 colors, including white and metalics, and write on both light and dark papers. :Pinkbounc
