April Advice

[Space Command]

I am planning to head to WDW for a quick weekend in April. I will most likely hit the parks on Fri or Fri/Sat. Any thoughts on the best weekend for crowds or will every weekend be packed?

I would also love any info because I am planning on going 4/15-4/18 and want to know if I'm crazy for doing so. Are the crowds unbearable? I'm used to going in May or September when crowds are great.

I am going April 4-7 I am sooooo scared crowds will be bad!!!! NO!!! We went last may and crowds were average (10-20 minute waits) I am soo scared it will be jammed apcked and we will be waitng hours for everyride

4/15-4/18 is the weekend starting the school vacation week in the Northeast.

Some (but not all) NY schools are off April 25-29. I'm curious to see how the crowds are too as we've never gone in April. Also, there is some kind of event at Magic Kingdom on the Friday or Saturday (or both days) 4/29 & 30 so the MK will close at 7 pm. Not sure if this will effect the crowds in other parks later in the day. Either way we are going that Saturday for a birthday celebration so we'll make the best of it. Check the schedule for hours the weekend before as it may be different.

MK closes at 7pm on select Fridays and Saturday in the Spring because of Grad Nite - it's a special event for graduating seniors. Bummer!
