As you can see not all are fancy or expensive but all are way cool. I have to say the coolest was the music CD.

Awesome loot!!! Hope I was counted in as one of those cabins for the FE. I'd love to participate! My dd6 and I had thee most fun every night running around to hand out our gifts, it was a nice way to see all the nooks n crannies. pirate:

Sorry I haven't popped back in since I posted that photo.

Those bags look great Jim.

I decided not to add my photo of what we got for FE gifts, it was when we got home and I pretty much upended it all onto the floor so we could sort through it as we got so much not sure you'll be able to work out whats what. I had kept the candy separate to the other gifts though of course :thumbsup2

fitmomOf2 PM me with your details and I'll add you to the FE group :)

We're paid up! Now for the wait for reservations :(

Looking to do a Palo Brunch on one of the two cruises. The last one we had the brunch and IT WAS AWESOME!

Jim

We had brunch at Palo last cruise also, I agree it was awesome! There was so much food, I barely got to taste it all, Rick managed to give it a red hot go though  We are definitely going to book in for that again, most likely the at sea day on the first cruise or if we can't get that then the Nassau day in the second.

Hi all, sadly I've come to tell you that we're pulling out of this cruise, we are however still sailing on the 5 night Caribbean on the 4th April.

My cousins daughter is moving to Savannah at the end of this year and then on to Charlotte in May next year (her dh is military) and won't be able to make it to Chicago while we are there, so we've decided to visit her in Savannah instead of doing this cruise.

As much as I'm sad to not be doing back to back, seeing Castaway Cay and Key West, I am excited to visit Savannah where we've never been and to see my family that I've not seen for two years, two and a half by the time we get there!

Some of you I will still see over in the 4th April thread :thumbsup2

Not many involved in the FE as yet, but if someone is willing to take over the organisation of this group that would be great :)

:wave2:

I completely understand. I am glad we are still able to cruise on the 4th and so nice that you are able to visit family.

Doing part 2 of a B2B cruise here, just booked today. Starting out with lots of others on the 4-4 it sounds like.

Welcome! Hope to see you in the FE!

Jim

I'm still considering FE. It's just on a back burner until the Fiji trip is over. I really can't focus on too many extras while trying to focus on the upcoming trip. (Oh and St Nicholas Day on Dec 6th) We get back the Dec 4th and St Nicks day is 2 days later. I have got to be ready for that one ;)

On a cruise were were given a bottle for Castaway Cay sand (beach sand is legal in customs) to take home. We brought another one for Nassau -

So I thought when I went to throw away a candle jar that it was perfect for sand from the other new sites for us -

So got a lot of burning to do ;) -

I thought some others might like the idea.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone celebrating!! I hope you have a wonderful holiday filled with laughter and fun. :grouphug:

I asked AussieMumma if she would like me to handle the FE as she would be spending time with her family.

If you wish to join please PM me your cabin info and the names of everyone. If you have any allergies or requests, such as no alcohol, please let me know.

For those who aren't familiar with the Fish Extender game there is a metal fish (originally but other ships have different ones) out side your cabin. You get together with a bunch of other DISers and exchange gifts. They can be little things such as note pads to fancy such as embroidered bags.

It is a blast. You go all over the ship and see some wonderful doors and FEs. The work can be amazing. It is also fun as you never know what will be waiting for you when you get back to the cabin. Makes you even more child like, very much like a mini-Christmas morning each time.

If they get too big they can be broken up into two groups if people wish.

If you would like some ideas I found this - http://www.pinterest.com/platypus6/disney-cruise-fish-extender-craft-ideas/

If you want to make an FE here is some good instructions - http://simplyleilani.blogspot.com/2012/11/disney-cruise-fish-extenders.html

Per shoreside, our dining rotations are as follows:
night 1 casual
night 2 "formal"
night 3 Pirate (Key West)
night 4 casual

rotation options include: TAAP, PTTA, APPT

Looking at which ships are in port while we are in Nassau, www.cruisett.com shows a total of SEVEN ships in port for 21,408 passengers for the day. WOW! That is the highest total number of passengers in Nassau for any one day for the whole month.
Key west shows just us in port that day for 2500 passengers.
Hmmm, can someone say, "staying on the ship in Nassau"?

Hoping a lot of people will choose that on all ships :D I rather like shopping in Nassau (got to get my rum cake) but I will admit that level of crowds will put a damper on it. Maybe they will all head to the beach :D
