April 9th 2014 4 Wondrous nights

Thanks.

If you wish to join us (or anyone else wishes) in the class let me know before we contact to set it up. The more the marrier!

Jim

I will have her look at it up and thanks for the invite :) There are some people only on the April 4th cruise, so you might want to extend the invite there as well. Unless the April 9th goes to Cozumel. I can't remember

FE Group Just a reminder that if you want to be a part of the Fish Extender group please message me on here or Facebook with your cabin number (if known) and the details of your travel party (e.g.. Mum, Dad and kids, boy or girl and ages).
Some people like to get organised early with their gifts so if you are interested then please let me know. :)

Don't know about anyone else doing B2B, but I keep forgetting which cruise is stopping where and in what order, so I thought I'd post the April 9th Itinerary here and then do the same on the other thread so I/we have something to refer to :thumbsup2

THANK YOU!!

Honestly, Key west is less expensive to go parasailing, but I am nervous to book that since we are there a few short hours. I may have to do that at CC and pay the ridiculous fees. Bummer

I also didn't realize it is such a short visit to Nassau, that answers the questions of Sea lions and the water park. We will skip the water park and just swim with the sea lions on this one.

I am out with my oldest son to Disneyland for the week. If anyone is trying to join FB, I will be back next Monday. Be patient with me.

How many people would be in the FE group? I am new to Disney and FE and dont want to get overwhelmed! I'd love to participate tho :goodvibes

It varies from cruise to cruise. I've been in ones over 50 and right now this one has 2 cabins :)

One way to keep from being overwhelmed is by doing one gift for a cabin instead of per person. On FE Amy and I did the type of backpacks that the strings that for the arm loops are also drawstrings for the top. Another one we did a sling pack. Both of these we did for each person in a cabin. Another one we did custom labelled pins and highlighters (for the Navigator) for each cabin.

Jim

I've never participated before, but I am back and forth on it. I may sign up one cruise and not the other, or just not participate at all. I'm not sure if I can get anything together by the time we have to leave.

Granted I love them so I am far from unbiased :lmao:

The coming back to your cabin and checking your FE seeing what maybe waiting for you is fun. Seeing everyone's work in both their FEs and their doors is cool when you out and delivering your gifts. I've ran into people as they were coming back to their cabins and struck up some fun conversations.

They don't have to be fancy. Door magnets, foam frames, little plastic jars with ribbons (for Castaway Cay sand or "future cruise funds") or even little bags of candy wrapped in netting are all great to get.

This is really the thought that counts game. Amy and I have fun with ours but Amy works for a promotional products company so we get that stuff really, really (I mean REALLY) cheap and it's fun shopping for ourselves instead of hard to please customers.

When I get home I'll see if I can post a couple pics of some of the FE gifts I've gotten.

BTW, sweetlovin' were you on the Valentine's Day Cruise on the Dream this year same as us? I saw you post on the thread when I was looking for pics.

Yes, I was on that cruise. That cruise was sold out, so I'm not sure if our paths crossed, but how crazy is that :)

I was there with my in-laws so I didn't have my kilts. A lot harder to pick out of crowd without them.

I definitely remember the very lousy weather at Castaway Cay for that trip :rolleyes2

Jim

Yep still only two cabins for the FE so far, well three if you count the fact I have two

I have photo's of what we gave out as well as what we received, I'll post them soon when I find them, they aren't on this laptop.
We just did a per cabin gift of mainly Aussie goodies ;)

Cherry Ripes?!?!?!? Love those. Not so hip on the Vegemite though ok with butter on toast.

Jim

No cherry ripe's, but I shall keep that in mind ;)
Vegemite with butter on toast is the best way to eat it, you only put on a very thin scraping. Most people when they try it the first time put it on thick like peanut butter, no way!
This is what we gave as a cabin gift

My mom was there as well. I didn't get off the boat at CC, but 1 child and my mom were caught in the storm. My other daughter and I were waving at them from the balcony when the storm was pouring down.:rotfl2:

Oh, yum!!

Here is what Amy I did one cruise -

As you can see not all are fancy or expensive but all are way cool. I have to say the coolest was the music CD.
