well we had a fun day riding our quads and we took a few photos , so I thought I would share with you!!

I couldn't take the jostling up and down right now.

We have one of the Segway's. It is loads of fun to ride.

Was at the hospital yesterday (all day) - don't know what today will bring yet

Hi Kay,
i think a Segway would be fun to ride, but I would probably fall off!! I at least need training wheels!!!

I leave the hard bumpy stuff for the guys, i take the easier trails. I am just a beginner at this.

love the segway!!!! we have done the WDW tour twice and will most likely take it each time we go..I would love to have one to play with at home. they are sooo easy to ride..even my mom did it!!!

Good to get out and have a fun!!

My husband involved with Go Karting team but he had enough with it now as too expensive for trips - go to Ireland, Scotland home, and England was very pricey.

Photo show below as he won big trophy for best driver!!

My husband (in fourth) involved with Scottish Deaf Squash Team and he is going to South Africa in Oct 07.

Hi Kay,
just wanted to send you a big
i'm sure you had a long tiring day today.

Not much happening here, I was tired so only fixed salads and mac and cheese with a little spicy beef in it. I did manage to make some chocolate mousse for dessert tonight.

Tomarrow afternoon I have to take Minnie to the Vet because of a red spot on her belly that wont go away and keeps getting bigger. At first I thought it may be a heat rash, but not sure, so going to have her checked out, just to be on the safe side.
I cant beleive i went to Walmart to get groceries today and still after 4 times forgot my magnetic sheets for my door sign I forgot something else too, but no I cant remember what it was My brain is all frizzled tonight I guess.
Next time I think of it, I will write it down, but then I have to remember to take the list, and even when I remember to take the list, I often forget to take it out of my purse!!

Well its been slowed b/c i have been ill...

Yep found it!!! They relocated...found it this afternoon actaully!!! They do not have a meet planned yet but I put the bug in their pants

I am compiling a list of questions so I dont sent you 30 seperated pm's

It is 9 pm and I just got home. Sos tired and worn out. Things are going pretty fast right now. Harry will probably go to a Rehab Center by Wednesday and then when they get things straightened out, I want him home.

Want them to arrange for a hospital bed at home and want him home.

He goes in and out of consciousness.

I am trying to cope and doing pretty good. It is so very hard.

Have to get some rest now

Kay, I hope you get him home soon. I think we all feel better when we are ill if we are in our own home. My grandmother had a hospital bed for 9 years so she could be at home, where my Aunt and a nurse cared for her. Her bed came from the Salvation Army and my Aunt returned it when she passed away.
I hope you got some rest and perhaps today will be a better day for you.
Remember to take care of yourself, keep eating right and get plenty of rest.
Don't want you getting ill too!!

Good morning ladies,
well we have a nice sunny day today but they say rain is coming soon.
I will be sticking close to home today because my doggie isnt feeling well after a shot yesterday. I dont want to come home to any surprizes on my carpet.

Well tomarrow I will get to watch the ship pull out. I love doing that, it makes my count down go faster.

Bringing Harry home today via ambulance.

Hospital bed is coming in about 1/2 hour and they will set it up for me.

We will be bringing in Hospice also. Lots of stress and decisions to be made.

Kay,
good to hear from you. I always worry about you with all the stress you are going through. You'll feel better once Harry is home with you. Plus Hospice will really help take away a lot of stress and dealing with decisions. They are a wonderful group and can be of tremendous help if you let them.

Both my mom and mom in law had similar problems that you are going through. Both got to have their husbands at home, almost the entire time. FIL had to go to the hospital the last 2 days of his life because he needed such a high dose of morphine that he needed an IV with it and a nurse to be with him constantly. Gregs mother was battling colon cancer at the same time, so really hard, she was in and out of the hospital at the same time. So he couldnt be there the last 2 days, but he was never alone. One of the kids was always there with him.
My dad was at home til the end, mom took him in for a check up and he passed at the doctors office. So she got to have him at home, which was a blessing for them both.
Back then when my dad passed Hospice wasnt all over like now, it would of been wonderful to have them there to help.

Please try to take a few minutes to take a few deep breaths and relax some. You cant afford to get ill right now too. Hospice will be a lot of help, guaranteed,

just wanted to remind you that if you get the travel channel , tomarrow has an hour show on it about Disney cruises. I have seen it any times. Not sure what time, you will need to check your local times. I'm sure you'll enjoy watching it,

Got Harry home. Desperately going to need help. Got up at 3 pm and he had tried to get out of bed and he was sideways the bed with this knees and legs hanging over the railings. Head was against the other rail sideways.

I got him straight back up and changed the bed and changed him also. It was so hard to do.

Therapist came at 9:30 and we got him up and then I changed the whole bed again and put clean and dry PJ's on him. Therapist just came to evaluate only.

He feels better and now is sleeping. That is my rest time !!!!

My nurse is coming around 1 pm and sit with him while I go to the store and get few things. She is a God send to me right now.

I can see the weekend is going to be full of activity of things.

Hello Kathy:

I am just stopping by to say "HI" and letting you know that we are also cruising with you.

We have been watching you "beg" for someone to come with you.

I am actually cruising with a friend of mine and her daughter.

We are having a short cruise, but it will be lots of fun. So at this point, there will be four of us on the ship

We have main dining

Now, don't get too excited

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a Disney Cruise Addict and my DD Jamie (for her 15th birthday) and myself (Linda) will be cruising with Kay on this cruise.

I haven't posted because this is my daughter's special little cruise and I have a bunch of other cruises upcoming and I can't keep up with all the threads.

But there you have it.

It's me, Jamie and Kay in the same stateroom. (6067 I think.....but then I can't keep track of which cruise is which right now, so let me just say we are on the ship somewhere!)
