I have been trying to make a sign for our cruise next month, but I keep forgetting to buy some magnetic paper. I just got back from the store and I forgot them again!!!
Maybe I really am getting old Just cant seem to remember them. Oh well I have 27 days left, so maybe by then.

My dog Minnie is laying by me on the couch and she is snoring so LOUD!!! She must of learned that from my husband

Good morning Kay,
I hope things are better today and you got some rest.
Not much happening here today. I keep forgetting to buy some magnetic sheets to make a door sign.
So maybe I will get them today and start that this weekend, I hope.

We are going to take Minnie to petco and use their self service bath today. That is so much easier than messing up our own bathroom.!! They clean up the mess. it only costs $10 to bathe her ourselves which is worth it to me.

Just read in our localpaper about a family who adopted a st.bernard from a pet sheter. They assumed she had been spayed, but they found out she wasnt fixed and took her in to be fixed,and when the vet opened her up, he found puppies, so closed her back up.
She just gave birth to 18 puppies, 16 survived, but mom lost too much blood and is in the animal hospital, she will be ok. However for now the family has 16 puppies whom they have to hand feed every two hours/ 24 hours a day until mom returns. It takes an hour to feed them all. so only an hour break before they have to start doing it again.
Boy that would be hard to do!! Guess they found out the hard way she wasnt fixed, she is now fixed!!
They are cute puppies!!!

Geez, what a story.

I didn't see that in our paper - sometimes stories like that get to other towns.

I can't go to a pet store. I would bring all of them home with me w/o hesitation.

I have a cocker spaniel, blonde color. Her name is Shelby and she is 13 yo.

They are definitely like our children.

I am the same way, i want all the puppies to come home with me, luckily Petco only has puppies once in awhile, usually has gerbils, fish, rabbits and such. I bravely walk right by.

When we got Minnie from the pound I had to have Greg go in and find her. I would of broke down to tears knowing all those animals would be put down soon if not adopted and most dont get adopted. I couldnt do it!!
So he said ok and did it, but afterwards he was surprized it had bothered him too. So many beautiful dogs and good natured too!!
We could only save one, but that is better than none!!!

The sun is out and getting warmer now, so nice!!!!

How funny you should ask!!! Why yes I am actaully searching for examples right now!!! Any suggestions?

I usually use magnetic sheet I get at walmart by the specialty computer paper section. I know you can print from your computer onto the magneti sheet, but I am lazy and buy stickers from Michaels, and scrap booking stores. I find tropical and disney ones, some are 3d and really look cute. I am very simple with them, nothing fancy.

Just a few simple examples. The other one with Mickey and pluto at the beach is actually 3D and they stand out from the page, it just doesnt show on the picture that well.

There is a thread on the main forum section that asks what does your door sign look like??
It has hundreds of repsonses. If you dont see it after 3 or 4pages you can do a search located at the top of the page. It has lots of great ideas, suggestions and pictures too. Much nicer stuff than mine is.

OK - things are looking up a tiny bit.

Harry was admitted to hospital today to the ICU unit. We got there at 10:30 via ambulance and he got to his room at 5:30.

he is much more comfortable and I will get some sleep. that is a big YIPEE

before he is discharged, arrangements will be made for homecare and we are going to get a trapeze thingy on the bed so that he can try and pull himself up and not get so weak from in the bed all the time. He has only one arm to work with right now since the tumor and fracture is in the left arm.

We will get that fixed also.

house is so empty w/o him and me being alone.

TIME CHANGE FOR MOST OF US TONIGHT - WE LOSE AN HOUR.


your signs are very nice. I was very active in that thread for a long time and made a couple hundred of magnets. I have some generic ones and ones with Wonder and Magic and use them accordingly.

I also make shirts for us the same as the door signs and shirts with our picture together on them also. I put pictures on the back and front.

It was lots of fun doing it

that is beautiful and is these are stickers?? Never thought do that way.

Where did you get it from? As I am looking for Stars for my friend 40th as we are going to Spain and I am thinking that I am making model band like (miss World) for her for laugh. 7 of us and 6 of us are wearing tiria with pink top and she is wearing crown with band. I am looking for sparkle star to put on.

got most stickers at a craft store called Michaels, and a few at Walmart.
You look at scrapbooking atores too.

If you dont see any, you can find them on line too.
They are cheap and so easy to do, just stick on and your done.

The door can hold 6 of them easily but the,most I have taken at one time it 4.
will only take one this time.

well gotta run, we are going for the day to ride our quads in the forest.
