Good morning to all my new friends, and to anyone who may be joining me here for the cruise.

Anybody coming with us???
Well I only have a sore wrist and thumb from working the throttle, so that is really good.

I am sitting here and my DH is asleep in his recliner and Minnie(dog) is laying across the foot rest between his legs asleep. BOTH are SNORING!!!
I think Greg taught her how to snore
What a crazy dog she is.

Any dog lovers out there??
My doggie showed up on our patio about 7 months ago starved and beaten with a heavy chain around her. We were using the BBQ and she smelled it.
we did feed her and gave her water. She wa sso scared, yet gentle to us as we fed her. Then she curled up by my DH as he petted her some. She was a terrible mess.
We called dog control to come and get her. Then we felt guilty because nobody would adopt a dog in that condition and she was such a good dog. So my DH called me from work and said he went to the pound and told them we were going to adopt her.
Now she is healthy, 62 1/4 pounds and is my baby. She is spoiled rotton!!!
We had alot of emotional issues to work her through because of her past abuse, but she is doing great. She is queen of the house and she knows it!!!

She is funny looking because she is part boston terrier and part boxer. She looks like a giant boston terrier, but has the big chest and the lower jaw that jets out like a boxer. Her ears are large and stick striaght up, so my son said we should name her Minne because her ears reminded him of Minnie mouse.

She has white whiskers on one side and black on the other side. And a small circle of grey hair on her bottom. She is black with white markings. Also all 4 feet are different sizes, which is you look is pretty evident.
I call her my pretty pup so she wont get an inferiority complex

well enough of boring you guys about my pup, but since the kids are grown and the grandkids live 3500 miles away, she is my kid, and she needed a loving home.

I'm off to buy groceries since everybody in this house is STARVING, don't ya know????? YA RIGHT!!!! There is sooo much food in here.....just not much 'junky' food!!!!!

Love it !!! i am from Ohio about an hour from where the movie was filmed!!!! Love the lamp!!!!!

Love the pics of your dog!!!! We have a shepherd/ lab mix and 2 cats. They are all my babies since we dont have any human ones yet.

Thanks for all your info on the cruises, DH is still trying to convince me to skip the parks....we'll see!!!

Good morning,
glad you guys enjoyed the pictures.
I was the one who bought DH the leg lamp. DD got him the movie and he also got a t-shirt from the movie. I light it up each evening in the window. The neighbors love it!! I have had delivery people comment on it too. So we are having a lot of fun with it.

if you thought the lamp was a funny Christmas gift, you oughta see what our son gave us??
It moves, talks, winks, chatters, it has motion sensors so if you walk by it comes to life and screams at you, it is freaky looking. It sits in my living room on top of the movie stand.

I have strange kids huh?? Just a typical present around here.

well we have storms coming this afternoon with a chance of tornadoes again, so guess I will go to the bank early today and take Minnie for her walk early too or we wont be going at all.

Happy Valentines Day and yes I got a lovely card with two after eight chocolates!!! I give him a card and cake with shape heart!! chocolate well.

Yesterday, I was working and valentines card and cuddle toys all gone very quickly, plenty chocolates and champagne, wines left.

Wonder what is today, as it was mad shopping yesterday and I start work at 2 pm to 6 pm today!

Tonight we will have take away chinese with botlle of wine

Weather here seem fine. Not warm, not too cold!!

Deborah, sounds like everything is working out for a great valentines day for you.
My DH always forgets it. After all these years it is a joke with us because I get him a small heart of sugar free chocolates and make a card.

It is a tough day for him anyway because I cant eat candy, allergic to most flowers, cant eat out due to medcial problems, so a card is about it, when he remembers. It makes him feel badly that he cant get me the usual things men get their wives.
Usually when he forgets he writes me a beautiful poem or love letter which is better than any card he could buy, but I tell him that every day is like valentines day because I CAN'T ever remember a day when he didnt say I Love You to me.

we are getting cold again on the weekend. Saturdays low is 30 . That is really cold!!
Enjoy your day, especially the chinese food, i loved chinese food when I could eat it!! YUMMY!!! Don't work too hard!!
