Weather Update from DCL

Important Information

5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2006:
We are currently monitoring Tropical Storm Chris very closely as it moves through the Eastern Caribbean.

The current voyages of the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will not be impacted by this storm.

At this time, we do not anticipate any changes in the August 3, 2006 sailing of the Disney Wonder or the August 5, 2006 sailing of the Disney Magic.

The safety of our guests and crew is always our top priority. If necessary, our Captains are always prepared to alter the ships' itineraries to navigate away from inclement weather for the safety and well being of our guests.

Thanks Deborah,
I figure we may want to call this our mystery cruise!!

Because we dont know for sure which ports we may wind up at, since the storm is coming from St. Maartin and that is where we are suppose to be going???

It is kind of exciting, not knowing for sure where we will wind up at next week!

I will tell you all about it after we get back!

well I am off for a 7 day Eastern cruise tomarrow, so this thread will slowly slip to page 5 or 6 or maybe even 7 while I am gone.
I will bump myslef up again when we return on the 12th.

Hope I will be pleasantly surprised to find someone has posted with me and is going on this cruise with us.

That is brilliant you got the picture with Captain Jack Sparrow in your pirate costumes.

funny, Last Saturday I took kids to swimming then went to Big W to look for gym shoes for my son, couldn't get it cos he got broad feets. Anyway, he saw Jack Sparrow suit and asked me to buy it so I looked at it it look good and price not bad. I am thinking to buy it sometime as he can wear it on cruise next year? Hope Captain Jack Sparrow still in Med. Cruise???

Hi Deborah,
If you buy the costume I hope you will take his picture and post it for me to see.
The Pirates movies are so popular I am sure Capt. Jack will be on the med cruises too. In May 07 they will release the 3rd movie and that will get everyone excited again about the pirates stuff.
I'm sure they will have the pirate party still, it is the highlight of the trip for many people. Each time we go it seems more people attend it. it was really crowded this time. Very popular.

going to take grandkids and DD to the movies today,so best get up and moving around here.I will write again soon,
