I just booked our first cruise on the Disney Dream! We have had great experiences on the Magic (twice) and the Wonder (once). I'm looking forward to taking it up a notch yet again with the Disney Dream!

Hi! We'll be on this cruise with you, celebrating our son's high school graduation!

Welcome to the thread! We are really looking forward to our first "double dip" cruise. This will be our 4th cruise. There will be four of us cruising, myself (Matthew), my wife (Beth - Tinkerbell.RN), and our daughters Megan and Sarah. They will both be in middle school at the time of the cruise. I can't wait to sail on the Dream!

It will be our 4th Disney cruise also! We did a RCCL but didn't like it at all. It will be me (Denise), DH (Tom) and our three kids. Lee will be graduating high school and almost 18, Sarah will be 15 (10th grade), and Maggie will be 13 (8th grade). We did a special western in 2008 that stopped at Castaway Cay twice. It was amazing, so we specifically looked for another double dip!

Looks like we will be joining you all on this cruise. We just returned from the Magic and booked this sailing while we were on-board. Coincidentally, this will be our 4th cruise on Disney as well.

Sounds like we all have girls in roughly the same age range. It will be myself (Glenn), my wife (Judy), and our two daughters - Alexis (will be 13 - 8th grade) and Alyssa (will be 12 - 6th grade).

Welcome! It sounds like it will be a fun cruise. I'm sure all of these girls will have a great time. Megan will be 14 in 8th grade and Sarah will be 12 in 6th grade. In 2009, they had a great time with the girls they chatted with on here. One of the teens had started a kids cruise meet thread. (Some of them had met on a previous cruise, so that gave them their own place to chat!)

I'll let may girls know that they'll be having some company.

In the mean time, where are you all from? We're in Virginia, fairly close to DC.

We're in Towson, which is about 20 minutes northeast of Baltimore.

We live in Las Vegas. It appears from the news reports that you guys are having some weather.

For our last cruise, we did several pre-cruise "cruise meets" in person. I guess that would be a bit difficult! Although, we will probably be going to Las Vegas the summer AFTER the cruise!

I'll have to dig out a map for that one! I definitely do not know Maryland well... or even Virginia, to be truthful!

Anyway... if we get more traffic on here, we might be able to do a pre-cruise meeting like we did for the last one. It was great for our kids (and us!) to meet some people before the cruise.

Wow, small world, both my wife and I are also UNLV alums and my wife was born and raised here is Las Vegas. She even went to Valley HS for one year (87-88). What year did you both graduate from Valley and UNLV?

I just booked for us. We've done a DD before but this will be our first Dream.

After hearing the podcast about the Dream I was so excited I couldn't sleep....I'm not sure I can wait 15 months!

We'll have me and my husband and our 2 DS's 12 and 10
