April 4, 2014 Wonderful Caribbean Cruise

We have 2 boys. They are 9 and 12. They don't know about the cruise yet, we are giving it to them for Christmas. I will have them join the kids group after Christmas.

Another newbie here! First Disney Cruise for daughter(9) and I. Had friends back out so looks like it's just going to be us going but still totally excited!! Kind of a stupid question but for the dinners, will we look totally out of place just being the two of us or do they put you with other people? Don't want to look like the "loners" but don't want to intrude on other families.

I went on the Dream with Samantha (8) just us and they put us with a group of single parent cruisers. I think you will be placed with others by Disney so it wouldn't be looked on as intruding.

On a separate note, I am taking Sam (9) alone in Oct 2014 and she said she only wants to sit with me. I asked her if she wanted to sit with other people and she asked me who they were. When I said they would be strangers she passed.

Our last cruise, my ds and ds and I sat with a single mom and son and another single mom and son and his aunt. There are a lot of single parent and child groupings. I would like to do that too someday.

Well that's good to know!! Thanks for the responses. Very helpful!! And what's your FB page under?

Suffs, my son will be 13 on the cruise. Last january, we surprised him with a cruise and he didn't know until we pulled in the port and the porter started pulling our luggage out of the car. He was pretty shocked.

I have a video of Sam's face when we pulled up. She thought we were headed to the airport from WDW. Although, I'm not sure the rental car company appreciated the fact that I was driving and videoing..but it ended up cute. I love surprises!!!

Love the surprise! My son is 15 so he is excited to hear other kiddos his age!

Are any of you also in the FE group?

I haven't decided yet about the fe. We did it on our last 2 cruises and we had to bring an extra suitcase so I kind of want to wait and see how many sign up.

There are only six of us in the FE group so far. And don't feel you have to give large gifts, it's just fun to give and receive anything! My kids thought the little bags of chocolate gold coins were a pretty awesome gift on our last cruise

20 days until I can make my Palo reservations :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday filled with Disney Magic... and Wonder, Dreams and Fantasies ;)

Hello all,

Now that we are almost on Silver level reservation time I thought I'd check to see if anyone is looking for table mates. Amy and I have done both cruises by our selves and sharing a table and we find that sharing a table makes for more pleasant evenings.

Not hard to do, each group calls into service to request it and all done.

Anyone interested?

Jim

We are on board! 2nd Disney cruise for me, DW, DD (14), and DD (11). Thoroughly enjoyed voyage #1 and looking forward to voyage #2. Definitely count us in for FE, my DDs would not have it any other way. We had great fun with FE on our last trip. I will have the girls sign in to the kids board shortly. Will also get on with FB shortly as well. Our DDs are really excited about meeting new friends and "hanging out" in the Kids Club.

We have been looking into the several options for excursions. Just curious what others have learned about them.

Thanks
