Cruise docs came for us too!!!!

We will be in the Magic Kingdom Sat. April 3rd, is anybody else going to be there?

We'll be there! We are flying in on Friday and staying at Pop Century for 2 days prior to the cruise. We are planning on MK on Sat morning and 'Ohana for dinner that night. I am trying to come up with a good Easter/Spring Break/crazy crowds touring plan right now! Eek!

I really need to start on the FE gifts. Are we going to have a cut-off date soon so we know exactly how many we need to make?

Anyone who wants to be "in" on fish extender gifts needs to PM me by Friday night 3/5. I will PM everyone the participant list this weekend.

For those who want to get a "jump" on planning (or at least thinking about it), here are some "stats" so far:
10 families participating
9 adult females
10 adult males
5 boys (ages= 14, 13, 13, 10,8)
14 girls (ages= 17, 13, 12, 11, 8, 8, 7, 7, 6, 6, 6, 5, 5, 3!)

I think we decided to just focus on the kids--but if you choose to do something for the adults you can--it's not expected.

Too much fun!

This is why we leave home for Spring Break - while everyone is coming in, we wave goodbye. We did enjoy the Masters last year the day before we left for our cruise.....

Just a heads up...If you are planning on staying at WDW anytime before or after the cruise, Disney just lifted the blackout dates on the room-only discounts! Wahoo! If you go to the Disney website, the blackout dates are still listed, but if you click "check availability" the discounts will show up for our Easter dates. There have been reports that if you call the reservation lines they think you need a pin code to do it, but you don't. It's just called the "Winter-Summer promotion." We just upgraded from Pop to POLY!!!! for very little money!

Thanks Lemola for the tip on the discounts - we have been considering going to WDW for 2-3 days after the cruise and that sealed the deal with DH! So I just booked our rooms

shhhh! Don't tell the kids,ours don't know yet. Since we are parking at the port I guess thats when they will know that we are going cruising. They only know that we are going to a hotel for a couple of days. They still have no clue!

Hmmm. Maybe they will come today--ours arrived last Monday. Otherwise, I'd say by Weds or Thurs I'd give DCL a call.

I've been shopping for FE stuff. Thinking I might need to ship a box to WDW to avoid the extra weight in my luggage!! My brain is definitely stuck on "cruise prep" these days.

Sure! We are planning to be there bright and early for rope drop and head straight to Space Mountain. Any chance you're doing the same?

CindyandChris, I would contact your TA. They probably have your cruise documents. It is a booklet with info you already know, and hard copies of your cruise documents (that you can fill out online). The only thing really important would be your luggage tags.

And for everyone's viewing pleasure...some muster drill pics!

We had to wake Lauren up from her nap to get to the drill. She wasn't too thrilled.

For anyone that needs to purchase a fish extender, we just ordered one on Ebay from Bonniesews. She will make most anything you want. A search of Ebay brings her right up.
