We were on the 12/11 sailing of the Dream and really loved it. Our first two Disney cruises were on the Wonder, so the Magic will be quite nostalgic. I can't wait! Any progress on an FE list?

We would love to know how to get involved with a group to do the gift exchanges. My friend just returned from a cruise on the dream and they had a blast with the FE Exchange. We will be on the April 30-May 4 Dream Cruise

Hi Everyone!

We just switched over to this April 30th cruise (I had booked onboard last October for next October but then changed that one to a Carnival cruise)

We were looking to take a short vacation this spring so when I saw this cruise - the timing, the fact that it was Monday to Friday, the price - well, I just had to jump on it.

So, we (me, my mother Connie and my father Bill) are on this cruise sailing in cabin 7138 (wheelchair accessible for my mother).

I haven't decided about participating in the FE yet though. We're trying to cut back on the luggage for this trip and in the past the FE's have ended up taking a whole suitcase to themselves, so........

If you guys want, I'll start a roll call list so we can keep track of which DISers are going on this crusie which could be helpful if we do a Meet and Greet. I'll go through the previous posts and glean the information that's there and then put together a post.

I don't think we're going to sign up for any planned excursions.

At Nassau we'll just go to the straw market and then enjoy the ship.

At Castaway Cay, my dad will be the first off the ship to snorkel (on his own) and then my mom and I will meet him to enjoy a little island time and lunch. I'm hoping to have the opportunity to snorkel as well but I'm not so particular about how many fish I see so I'm okay to just do it later morning or early afternoon.

I think it really depends on what you want to do - Castaway Cay is the perfect vegging at the beach day so you may want to look for something different for Nassau. I've heard great things about Blue lagoon and certainly Atlantis is a big draw there.

Me, I just want to hang by the adult pool with a mango margarita

I suggest being prepared to book as soon as shore excursions open up for booking, I've heard that para-sailing and the jet ski things (sorry, not entirely sure what the name of excursion is) are very popular.

haha yea, i plan on staying up late on feb 14 (wow, valentines day!!!) and at midnight booking it!

i've always wanted to do it, so i figured why not do it in castaway cay to add to the memory!

Anyways - is anyone else thinking about booking Palo? I am thinking about trying for the brunch (though this will be DCL cruise number 4 and I've not been able to book the brunch yet! because it's always been sold out by the time I could book anything online).

Or I might try for dinner on night 3 (which should be Pirate Night); not a big fan of that menu.

Whoo-hoo! Thanks to a wonderful DVC member, I've been able to secure a one night stay at the Animal Kingdom Villas (Jambo house) in an accessible studio.

It's less than staying at a moderate for the night and - when all expenses are included - only about $30 more than staying at the Holiday Inn in DTD. So I'm very happy.

I've booked Ohana for Dinner on Sunday and Boma for breakfast on Monday morning (before boarding the ship). Ohana is a for sure but breakfast is just a maybe - we might also order room service or grab something from Mara - I think it really depends if we wake up hungry and ready for a second buffet. I kind of wish AKL had a regular sit down restaurant where we could order a made to order breakfast but oh well, what are you going to do.

Can't wait - this is shaping up to be a great trip!

Anyways, I changed Boma to Olivia's (at Old Key West). I think a regular sit down breakfast would be better suited for that morning. Don't want to eat too much so that we're ready for lunch once we board the ship.
