April 30, 2012: 4 night on the Magic!

We had such a GREAT time! Booked another cruise onboard, and looking forward to doing it again! Next time, we want to stay longer than 4-nights. Loved Castaway Cay, and will look into the cruises that stop there twice. Thanks to all for the great FE gifts!
By the way, we did not notice any sickness on the cruise. I'm glad we avoided it!

We had a lovely time, especially being that it was our first cruise. We thoroughly enjoyed Cast Away Cay. While at first in Serenity Bay, we found it too quiet and too remote. After bike riding we took the tram back to the family beach. Near the snorkeling. Lovely looking at the ship. BBQ was great! As for the Bahamas..personally I wouldn't waste time getting off the boat again for that experience.
We didn't encounter any illness (thank goodness). By the same token, we didn't use the pools. I don't think they looked particulary appealing.
We enjoyed the food in Parrot Cay, and especially in Palos. Lumiers, and Annimators..not so much. I guess I thought it would be better. While it wasn't bad, I didn't think it was anything to write home about either. Also enjoyed entertainment in Sessions, the piano bar. Found ourselves there each evening.
We stayed in the concierge one bedroom suite and the room was great!

Moakley and I had a lovely time! Thank you everyone for all of the time put into the gifts, it was much appreciated
Our luggage arrived late and we still had a bit of sewing to do on our FE so it didn't go up until the second day - hope that didn't throw anyone off!!

Neither of us was sick, and we found the food fabulous. Lumiere's is my favorite menu of all time, even more than Palo. We weren't even on the boat a day when Moakley was already suggesting we plan our destination wedding on a Disney cruise <3 <3 When we landed at Castaway Cay he said "Oh! So THIS is what paradise is". Too true.

We had SUCH a good time that getting on our next cruise on Friday the day we got off the Magic was such a downer. FYI we went Royal Caribbean for our second cruise, and the difference was day and night. Terrible food, service, pool, even made you pay extra for soda! Made it a little easier to get off that boat and go home to be honest! The Disney difference is huge.

My mom had talked to you one day, and explained all that happened. Hopefully you got our items the last night. it was a very cute FE, btw.
