I LOVE starting and ending with a mess of sea days. But somehow I don't think Ensenada probably won't be like finishing a cruise at Castaway Cay!

My dh and I have our quote and will be transferring a Fantasy cruise for this one!

I couldn't resist this trip!!

I have an agent working on transferring my ressie to them and then will get the OBB credit put on my quote.

Thanks for whoever gave the info that the deposit was 10% if you transferred OBB.

We're in!!! We have requested an inside. We are Platinum so should be able to get that.

Let's introduce - We are Dennis (DrHug) and Angie (MrsMork). Dennis will turn 67 Feb of 2012 and I will turn 62 in March. I will be getting my social security checks then!! We've been married forever, celebrated 43 years last fall at WDW just after we got off the TA. We are very, very blessed.

It will be great to see Dennis and you again.

YEP...I'll be on this cruise. Gold now so I can do early booking and thanks to my pal, Ian I have a dummy cruise to move over to this one. I have to price a verandah stateroom and am hoping that won't be too frightening otherwise my big sister is going to have to live with an oceanview!

I think we're all expecting this cruise to sell out quickly, but I don't know how much the dates will impact that. I remember the 08 EBPC sold out in 24 hours (pretty much) but our WBPC took a couple of days since it overlapped school dates.

Anybody have experience moving an existing reservation to an entirely new cruise ON LINE? Trying to decide if I should call into DCL and have a CM help me, as I need to shop prices and specific staterooms. I suppose I can play on line while waiting on HOLD for a CM! Maybe I'll 'practice' on line tonight.

Let's hope that this is going to be the cruise that we finally get to cruise together. I have lost count if this is going to be the 3rd or 4th attempt.

We will be booking this tomorrow! I am excited - this will be our 20th wedding anniversary - thinking of finding a chapel on a beach and renewing our vows!

It will be nice to see you again.

We have high hopes of moving a dummy booking to this cruise bright and early tomorrow. Like Alan, because we are on the west coast we will be setting the alarm for an ungodly time.

I just talked with someone at DCL and he indicated we would not be able to move a booking on-line tomorrow, only over the phone. He said we would be able to on Friday.

We are booked on the Wonder for the 2011 Halloween cruise. That is a very quiet thread. I am looking forward to planning for this cruise with all of you.

After 1hr 28min I called the number listed on the web for on-line help to see if I could change on-line and got answered in 30 seconds. I kid you not. Don't hate me, paid my dues on line 1hour 30 min with the CC line.
I didn't get the first four room choices but I did get a 5C for two adults, total $6,693.22 (start collecting those recycle cans I guess - or sell a kidney). Deposit was 10% because it was a moved reservation. Final payment due 2-14-12. No mention of deposit being non-refundable.

I know why I had my travel agent do all the hard work. I was at work today and then had an eye appointment so by the time I got home, I think I would have had no chance to get the category I wanted.

We're booked.

Price for 5C quad, 2A, 2k was 9768.44 with transferred booking (gotta love 10 percent and OBC).

So excited and can't wait for this one!

Overslept this am, went straight to the phone, on hold at CC phoneline at 9:43 ET, got through at 10:11 (28 minutes). Not too bad for a 4-minute booking transaction - better than the line for the Toy Story Ride.

Wondering (whoops) if this should be a golf vacation. Just have to bring clubs on a domestic flight and then keep them in the room.

I'm booked solo on Deck 5, aft. No transfers or insurance, no dummy date discount, so $3096. Not far from what I expected.

Well, we are official. I paid my deposit a little while ago. We managed to get a category 11C and are in stateroom 2519. I could not believe my luck that we already have a stateroom number. I expected that we would end up with GTY status. We were in 2513 on our Med cruise last year and loved the location.

There is so many familiar names on here that it is easy to forget that I do not know everybody. So let me introduce myself. I am Corinna and I live in Manchester in the UK. I will be sailing with my husband Graham and this will be our 8th cruise. This will be our 4th cruise on the Wonder.

Tell me about it! When I was on the phone this morning I'd asked the CM about the 'secret verandah' Cat 7s and when she said they weren't availabile I said "Just as well, the last two times I've booked one I've ended up cancelling the cruise!" Decided I didn't want to jinx THIS one!

We are in 6046- next to the room we had on the PC. We changed our "dummie ressie" and were able to use the discount on this ont.

We were on hold about an hour and a half which wasn't too bad.

We also booked the Canadian - August 5 one. We will be in CT then so no air fare.

Now to find a good air fare to LA.

Maybe DCL will offer a Disneyland package with transportation to the port.

We will be celebrating our 45 annniversay on this trip.

We are in and I see some very familiar folks here. We just moved from deck 2 to deck 7 so DH can be aft and closer to the food. Lol. This is our first cruise without a balcony.. I'm sure the cove will be my resting spot anyway.

I need to call back tonight and move my dummy to this on ( completely forgot).

A cruise I was on in January stopped in Ensenada. I was not looking forward to it, but was surprised that the main shopping area in town was a lot nicer than I thought it would be. We had a pleasant day there.
Definitely NOT Castaway Cay....or any other Caribbean location...but it wasn't bad and it wasn't scary.

If they can get bookings. Rumor has it that DCL reps were telling people throughout the day there is a fair chance that much of the ship will be sold out today to Platinums and Golds....and another friend of mine (who hasn't logged onto this list yet) got shut out of some of the categories of rooms she was looking for....so i have a feeling this cruise sold like hotcakes today!
