gee... I was unaware of this:confused3:confused3
Sorry, didn't want to confuse anyone. This was what happened on my last Roll Call Meet. So, we are just getting together to meet everyone, there must not be a roll call gift exchange.
Not necessarily. Some people do it that way, some don't. There are no rules for FE gifting. You can pretty much do whatever you want.

Sorry, again. I was talking about a roll call gift exchange that happened on my last cruise, not the FE gift exchange.

It's fine, not to worry. We're just having a 3pm meet and greet in the Promenande Lounge when we get onboard.....no roll call, no gift exchange. You may get your lanyards, but that's about all.

Each cruise is different and they do things differently. I think you're confusing your other cruise with this one. It's understandable.

Just come and say hello at 3pm in the Promenade Lounge.

A few people made some comments earlier in the post about also having to travel with c-pap or bi-pap machines and wondering about distilled water etc. I have another question for this group...what do you do about cleaning the tubes etc when traveling? We have only had machine 2 weeks and they told us to wash tubing etc every week. Any suggestions or do and don'ts from experience??

On my last cruise someone gave out one of their (or maybe their only) FE gifts to their list so they didn't have to go to all the cabins????? Guess I'd call it a shortcut :p

Dennis has had c-pap since 1991. You could just rinse the tube with water and hang in the bathroom to dry....or you could just not bother for that one week and take care of it when you get home. :thumbsup2 (That is what we do and have not had any trouble ever with going a couple of weeks without cleaning the tube ::yes::)

What post is the updated FE list ?

Did some shopping today and got my SM 's final gifts and some color Sharpies.

So as of now we have two formal and one semi is that right?

Well I knew it would happen...they kicked us off the Wonder and out of our beautiful suite this morning! What a strange feeling though knowing that I'll be getting back on in 2 weeks! I guess I need to start unpacking ASAP so that I can do wash and repack!!

I was told our Hawaii cruise has about 2000 guests and of those guests, only 190 are kids! That is going to be one crowded adult pool! LOL As soon as we left Cabo on Fri, the wind picked up and it was COLD! The sun was shining but it was too cold to sit outside and read. I hope that isn't the case during all of our sea days. I was hoping to run into Captain Fabian again (he will be our Captain too) and ask him what he thought the seas would be like but didn't see him again.

Wow, 190 kids. How many are there usually? They're going to feel like royalty!

Hi Everyone,

I see that I am very, very late to this party, but I'm going to be on board too. I hope I'm not too late to join in the fun! :earsboy:

I see there are scrapbookers on board, but are there any knitters? Or am I the only person who thinks tropical weather and crafts involving wool sound like a good idea? :)

I am a knitter but have never brought a project on a cruise. Maybe this time if there is space in the luggage
but
we are flying Delta with frequent flier miles and have to pay for our luggage unlike when we fly SouthWest.

We'll be there! It will be fun to see the faces behind the DISnames.

But going around to all the cabins is half the fun to me! Plus, it's another way to get my daily steps in after a big meal

I hope they don't cancel some of the kids activities. :worried:

I would be very upset if they did!.. We paid the price for them to be able to enjoy EVERYTHING!.. Not our kids' fault that the cruise has very few kids. There is no reason they should do with out the activities.. IMO....:scratchin

During our Thanksgiving cruise we had around 1000 kids. I don't recall them saying how many kids were on this last week but I'd say it was about the same amount. So it will be interesting to see the ship with so few kids!

pixiedust:

Having 2 of the 190 kids.. I am stoked!.. That is awesome news.. Less lines for them to wait in, less crowding in the kids clubs.. yippie!

I have another 2 of the 190 :) I then expect we won't wait 1 and 45 minutes for Princesses gathering??? :)

Thats what my DH said when I read him about 190 kids...he said...hmm..then they will close kids clubs cause they will be empty....

And this was same answer I gave to my DH.....they better don't cut anything....

Does anyone have experience with the kids clubs from the TA cruises? They had similar kids counts I believe.
With the new structure of the Kids clubs and open houses, I can't imagine they will limit the hours anymore, perhaps just have fewer Cast Members working them!

On our EBTA last May we had maybe a few more kids then that but nothing seemed to be canceled because of a shortage of children. We had a kids overnight in the camps, and all the other activities plus more that you would expect from a 14 night cruise. The lab was open a couple of nights for adults but otherwise plenty for the kids and short lines for the characters!:thumbsup2

Would someone happen to know how to address a box to have sent to the port? I have been looking, but unfortunately with the search disabled, I am having a hard time finding the information.

I so agree, because of the kid club and the things they offer my DS feels OK doing his own thing. THen I can do my thing, workshops, scrapbooking, hanging with friends. That is why I travel Disney!!!:wizard:

Then I'm worried there will be more "open house" hours then "secure". Don't understand me wrong, I don't want to get rid of my kids, but kids like it there without us, parents and we would like few hours for our self too.
