Just booked the Lights action camera tour with Adventure by Disney for May 15, I was told they could accommodate our scooters
 
Wow! That's more than double the price they are here in the stores. Generally they are $5 for 25 here

I saw some at Shoppers Drugmart for the Canadians on here, but they were being cleared out and the shop I had only 2 boxes left.

Yeah, I know...I paid $4.97 in WM before tax for 22 sheets box. Who knows why is double the price on Amazon.
 
I read SOMEWHERE, either here on the Dis or on the facebook page that someone is going to return their rental car on Sunday at Long Beach. Does anyone remember which car rental brand it was?

Enterprise. We are picking up at LAX and dropping off at Long Beach. I think it really has a San Pedro address though.
 

I called the Enterprise car rental. It seems that the office at 235 West 6th st., San Pedro, Ca 90731. (phone 310.548.8060) is open from 9-12 on Sundays. I looked on the google maps and it is only a couple miles from the terminal.

The address for the cruise terminal is World Cruise Center, Pacific Cruise Ship Terminals, Berths 91-93, San Pedro, CA 90731

Seems to me that to return there on Sunday morning would be the best, because the taxi ride would be less expensive (and shorter).

more news on car rental.....I called the enterprise office and spoke to the nicest agent....she said to go to the Enterprise website, choose LAX and put in to return to same location, but when we arrive at the airport to rent the car, tell them that we will be going on a cruise out of the World Cruise Center in San Pedro and that we'll be returning there! There's a free shuttle to the port.

BUT remember, the office is only open from 9-12 on Sundays. You can do a late return, but there won't be a shuttle, you will have to take a taxi.

If you don't get them at your local WM and you want them, I can get them here in our WM or from Amazon. Purex Complete 3-in-1 Spring Oasis ($10.38) or Purex Complete 3-in-1 Pure and Clean ($10.28) or Purex Complete 3-in-1 Tropical Escape ($10.57) , 22 sheets with my free shipping and I can take them with me on the ship. I think they have smaller boxes too with less sheets in it.

she did not happen to say what time the free shuttle begins, did she? I was hoping they would have a free shuttle.

Whoever is selling them thru Amazon knows they are discontinued so has jacked up the price. I've saw that happen recently on something my daughter was researching to buy..Amazon was way high. Fortunately her sil found one still in a store for normal price!

I don't know if our experience was typical but we had a horrible time getting the Enterprise shuttle to pick us up at the pier. It is a small office and they do not have a designated driver. The second person in the office picks up when they get a few minutes free. Often the phone just rings and rings. They do not have a designated shuttle van, just use whatever vehicle they have, so if there are multiple people waiting they can only take 4-6 people at a time. We waited over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up at the pier and over an hour to turn in the car and get a ride back.

From the sounds of it the DCL police would not allow that. Seems that any money exchanging hands on the ship is not allowed. Hoping the Champagne Girls party is ok cause I am really looking forward to that one! :woohoo:

I wouldn't do it anyway....I have a box of 22 sheets and if someone needs few of them I'll gladly give them away, I don't need all 22.

I have just gone through my Vista Print "stuff" and didn't realize how much I've ordered in the 12 months leading up to our cruise. If anyone is planning anything let me know if you would like to use a banner, I have about 9 that I made from the different designs (what was I thinking???:confused3). I also have a couple posters and signs. Similar to the one I showed with the shirts. Maybe the Meet & Greet could use a little decoration??

I also ordered 14 tee-shirts over the months. Some of them the same design :scared:

You have a "clean" shirt for every day so you do not have to do laundry.:yay:

If you are at the Doubletree then you can leave the car there and Enterprise will pick it up.

Supraman PMed me that Stateroom #5022 had just opened up today and he remembered (Lord only knows how) that my elderly ILs had gotten assigned an 11B down on deck 5 while we were assigned up on deck 7. He suggested we try to snatch it up and you know what?!?!

I emailed our INCREDIBLE TA, Dorothy at Dreams Unlimited and within 5 minutes she emailed back that SHE GOT IT FOR US!!!

Now my DS(5) can just walk a few yards to his Grammy and Pop's room whenever he wants and my dear ILs will be able to spend time with us without having to take the elevator every time.

SUPRAMAN - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Oh, and I guess that means FE GROUP 7 needs to change our stateroom from 7003 to 5022
