Scrapbook Update

Well, I have the first 9 pages designed in my head. First two are kinda done, but I have to wait for Scrapbook USA Expo second week in April I think to pick up final embelllishments..

Went to scrapbook store yesterday and bought 300 pieces of paper. The ladies there must think I need a therapist! But then I was checking out and the cashier told me someone was in the day before and bought over 1000 pieces of paper. (guess she owns an online scrapbook store). Goes in and buys everything up when it is on sale (hm.....just like me).

Anyway, as a little teaser here are themes for some of our pages:

Luau pages complete with tiki heads
Mickey pages (no cruise is complete without Mickey)
Petite Pink Posies pages (Hawaiian themed)
Striped design pages with small flowers with sparkles theme
Sailaway page in my head, working on it today. Saw something I loved and now I need to re-create it into the cruise/Disney/Hawaii theme

The 300 12 x 12 papers are about 8 inches high on my kitchen table......I have a huge granite countertop in my kitchen, so it has now taken over the space for the next couple of months most likely!

I can't wait to see the scrapbooking materials. I did finish my PC cruise but at the end I got kind of tired and did not put all the effort into the last part. I was just glad to finish it.

I hope all the organizers put up a list of participtents- since there are so many great things going on - we forget what we signed up for.
Looking forward to the FE list. I have some done but am witing for the children in the groups. I will probably do two groups- depending on numbers.

We are flying in on fri to se family up near venutra and then could return car to LAX.... Im curious, did they have a shuttle from LAX to there or are you getting it on your own? We might be interested if was easy to get down there.

We are using Super Shuttle from LAX to the hotel.

We havent booked anything in Kaui (Nawiliwili) so I was looking into a few things on my own . I found the Kipu ranch atv tours which looks like alot of fun. I was worried about the times though as Im always leery of doing my own excursions as to not miss the boat. I contacted them and if there was a group they would do some pvt tours and could adjust the times of their normal tours to ensure we get back. The only downfall is they have no shuttles and it is about 15 minutes from the port. Posting a link to their website below. If there was any intrest here I would look into this further. Depending on size of party also determines vehicle size and price as youll see.

We're signed up for DCL transport from the VGC and have been given no info as to pickup times or pre-registration. Don't know if that should come from my TA or DCL?

Also, there is a google doc list for people who were interested in a charter pickup from the Disney hotels but I don't know if that idea is still in play?

In October, we took DCL transfers from VGC. We had a message on our phone the evening before and a letter underneath the door the day of the departure. We had to have our suitcases ready by 8:00 and were asked to leave them near the door with their luggage labels attached. We were supposed to be at the meeting point at 11:45 for a 12:15 pick up. GC is the last pick up.

Secret Mickey

If you have ever participated in Secret Santa, then you have a good idea what this is about. You will be allocated a family or an individual and it is then your task to spoil them rotten during the cruise. The budget for this is $25 to $30. This does not have to be anything faqncy. During the cruise, you should drop a little something off for your Secret Mickey 2 or 3 times. This can be a note, some candy, a souvenir, a magnet, etc. On the last sea day there will be a reveal session and during this, you should give your Secret Mickey a slightly bigger present.

Each group will have a maximum of 6 participants, but I am happy to offer each workshop more than once if the demand is there. All workshops are suitable for beginners. Adult workshops will take place in the Outlook Cafe and Kids/ Tweens and Teens workshops will take place in the Promenade Lounge.

If you are interested in any of the workshops please send me a PM with the workshop or workshops you are interested in and for the Kids/ Tweens and Teens workshops the name and the age of the participant. Also, now that you have had the chance to see the prototypes, could you let me know which theme you would like to do for the bracelet.

At this stage this is just an informal sign up and I will take sign ups until 6 weeks ahead of the cruise.
