Is anyone else following this board via email not getting the feed? On my User CP I am subscribed to this thread for email for weekly updates but have been receiving any. I had no problems with the two cruises we took in September.

I don't have the email update turned on, so I can't help.

I got DCL to send me a written confirmation that my final payment date is not until 2-14-12.

Can you let me know who/what method you used to get this (as I have 2/14 also)? I'm starting to stress about it and have had nightmares that my reservation gets cancelled in January. I will probably pay in full right before the "Gold" window anyway, just really need to wait till after the first of the year.




Just got back from the B2B on the Dream, she is a beautiful ship! Met some great crew and got very well taken care of by the adora-bello Simone Had all the joy and drama of traveling with family and did manage to pick up the obligatory travel cold and am home from work today. A private cabana at Castaway Cay was the best 'excursion' money I ever spent. It was perfect for our group of ten spanning three generations.

While I may want to give it a little more thought (with a non stuffed-up head), I believe the Wonder is still my favorite ship and CAN NOT WAIT to sail on her for this adventure! Still unsure of my cabin-mate. Sister #1 has used her first right of refusal option and will wait till Christmas 2013 to cruise again; Sister #2 would like to go, but dates conflict with a time share trip with her DH and needs to look at moving that. Sis-in-law is in the 'holding pattern'. Perhaps if sis #2 can change her plans we will add SIL anyway. Guess I'd better price out addeding a 3rd to the room.

I've got a perfect roommate for you. Parker is coming with us as our 3rd. Alas, I'm sure you would rather not have a 21 yo as a roomie.

I had a hard time trying to find this thread. It's been awhile since I've been on and I apologize for those who contacted me and didn't receive a response. If you told me you wanted a room, I have you on my list. Since we're getting closer to our awesome cruise, I've been re-negotiating hotel prices to try to get a better rate. To get a group rate, we need 10 rooms at whichever hotel. 10 rooms sounds like a party to me. I am waiting on the paperwork from a couple of hotels and I will have all of the hotels and prices posted in a couple of days. The hotels I contacted so far are Doubletree San Pedro; Hyatt Regency; Paradise Pier; Queen Mary; Portofino Inn & Suites and Candy Cane Inn. Thanks for your patience. Look for updates on Wednesday.

I reserved my room at the Candy Cane Inn in a Disneyland package. (good neighbor hotel).. But, I would be super excited if more decided to stay there in a group rate, and maybe see what we could do about transportation from Candy Cane to the Port. Like I said, that is if there is enough interest in staying there at a group rate. I was kind of wondering if the Inn would do a shuttle to the port of there were enough people interested.

Hi Everyone, yes I am extremely slack and haven't been on in weeks.
So, as some of you know, I had a baby, who is now 3 and a half months, we moved house 4 weeks ago and my husband had surgery on his hip last week. So, that, along with the end of year school concerts, school camp, ballet concerts, art shows, etc, etc I have just been too busy. We only have 3 weeks left at school until our summer break of 9 weeks in which I plan to get myself immersed in Hawaii Cruise planning.
So, what's new, Have we finalised FE groups yet? I don't have anything in my inbox? I'd love to start planning over the xmas break. Have we agreed on groups of 25, or has that changed?
Are we doing a candy swap?
I see Champagne girls is organised and the shirts are looking good

I can't really give you an update as I am not visiting the thread much as it is almost definite we will cancel and I get upset when I come on here! It will be so sad not to meet everyone. However I don't think much has been going on. If you want lovely matching Hawaiian shirts visit the first few posts and get an order off to Val(Valbob)

I know Heather(threebrits) is down for heading up FE's but she hasn't posted in months. I know she is still planning on being onboard so perhaps she has forgotten she is organising it. Or perhaps she will do it all closer to the time and has it in hand. I know I would be wanting to know what was happening if I was in the FE groups too.

I kind of remember a post awhile back saying we would break into groups for the FE, but that we would wait until closer to the cruise to do that so that the list is accurate and up to date. If someone else remembers differently, please chime in.

It helps so much when they sleep through the night regularly. He is at such a lovely age too.

Man am I feeling left out. All this talk about Pre cruise accommodations. For the first time with all my salinge with DCL I don't have to worry about it. I will be stating at Home, and no that is not in reference to DVC, just our little apartment 20 min north if the port.

We are not having a pre-cruise stay in the classical sense either. Friends of ours have just bought a gorgeous house in Seal Beach and they have invited us to stay with them before the cruise.
