April 28-May 4 or May 31-June 6? When would you go?

We are looking at this as mainly a water park trip, and hoping to avoid crowds if at all possible. At first I thought for sure last week of April, but so many of the resorts are already sold out! Just looking for some opinions! Thank you!

The last week in April used to be my standard week to go. Flower and Garden and combines a little of the food and wine too. Only draw back is the love bugs LOL they are harmles but they are everywhere. I love that week and i am a little upset i am not doing it this year. the family decide to go in August SHOOT ME NOW

My vote's for end of April too. Great time of year to go - weather is great and crowds are minimal. My favorite time of year. Either time should be good, though... have a great trip!

Definitely in April. Spring break crowds should basically be gone, good weather, and lower crowd times. In may/June, that's the exact time kids are getting out of school and families beeline to Disney. And it's getting a lot hotter. I'm also going April 26-May 2, yay!!

Yes, the earlier date, prior to Memorial Day. Crowds will be much lighter.

Before Memorial Day for sure! The April date should be wonderful...after Spring breaks, after Easter and too close to the end of the school year for most people to think about pulling kids out of school.

We have been several times in May (2nd week, 3rd week and last week)
After Memorial Day was the most crowded by far. Not only are you seeing the early summer-vacation crowds (many school districts in the middle of the USA get out before Memorial Day) but you also get the end-of-the-year school field days, band trips, graduating class trips from Florida schools. The day after Memorial Day one year at Magic Kingdom there were 100s of "middle school" graduates in matching tshirts everywhere...as well as two high school marching band groups.

April-May is when I am going as well. There is an AK mini-marathon that weekend, also the Seven Dwarfs mine train will have a media event as well as the 30th Anniversary of HS is that week. So while its projected to be a quiet week, I have a feeling the crowd levels are going to be bumped up a bit.

End of April early May vote here!!!! We will be there April 25-May 5. Wonderful weather/ reasonable crowds.

April 28th- May 4th. We’ve been during this timeframe several times (will be back this year too!) The crowds are minimal, the weather is certainly warm enough to enjoy the water parks and you get to enjoy the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot.

We went once at the end of May over Memorial Day weekend and into Memorial Day week and we’ll never do that again. Other than Epcot, it was super crowded and very hot!
