We are looking at going to DL for a couple days very last minute either April 26th and 27th or May 3rd and 4th, any comment on which may be less busy? It was open later on April 26th than May 3rd so I guess they expect more crowds, but not sure how much more.

Any comment/thoughts?

We are likely to do the Thurs and Friday of each week or possibly Friday and Sunday. I would guess that Thurs and Friday would be less busy.

The May dates will probably be less busy then the April dates. As you said, the park is open longer the April dates, indicating that Disney is expecting larger crowds. The everyone plays the kids price tickets need to have the first use by April 26, so that will bring people in to the parks that week (I'm one of them! We get there the 26th). Early May is typically a great time to go. We were there the first weekend of May last year. It was one of my best trips. The park wasnt crowded, the entertainment schedule was pretty full, and the weather was wonderful.

Go in early May. We went the first week of May last year. The CM's told us there was a huge difference in crowds between the last week of April (the date by when the play for kids price tickets needed to be used) and the week we were there.

The crowds were low and the weather was lovely.

Definitely wait until May.

Hadn't realized about the ticket price and affecting attendence.
