Well, it's done. And I have a picture. Just can't post it yet b/c I had another post that had to go up today. I am trying not to double post too much because I might run out of things to say and I have to have things to say for NaBloPoMo.

How is everyone doing? Pretty quiet around the thread. I know Karen has been running all over. What about everyone else?

wow, it's quiet around here! Sorry I haven't been around. Been a bit under the weather, while still working and it just hasn't been pleasant. I have been collapsing into bed every day very early on. We are also doing some major renovations to our house, new kitchen, etc. I can't wait for it to all be over!

My DS just spent a week away at outdoor school. He just came home today and it was also his birthday. We went out to Johnny Carino's for dinner. I haven't been eating a whole lot lately, due to me not feeling well, so I only finished about 1/4 of my dinner.

How has everyone been doing? This is my favorite time of the year, with the holidays coming up..

wow, just because I was curious, I checked our flight, and the price has gone up $109 per person!! That's insane. And I thought I paid a lot, I am glad I booked when I did, I would hate to pay an additional $436.

Wondering if Jen has booked her air yet.. with the gas prices, I really don't see it going down much. It's $3.35 a gallon here. You can only imagine how much it costs to fill up my Expedition!

Well we have a long weekend here and weather permitting hope to clean the leaves out of the yard and gutters one last time. we are taking my mom to the Buffalo airport today she is starting her winter trek south. what are everyone's plans for thanksgiving it will just be the four of us here that has been out tradition for the last 10 years or more we do the Turkey and all the trimmings and the smell in the house is great that day. The day after we start decorating for Christmas

We're actually heading up to Cleveland for my family's Thanksgiving tomorrow. We'll drive up and drive down the same day. Due to schedule conflicts, it was the only time everyone could get together.

We'll celebrate with Mike's dad and step mom on Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving will be at my in-laws. Since they don't work anymore they have more time to prepare big meals like this. We did give them the turkey so made a contribution at least.

My sympathies to the Ohio State fans. I couldn't believe my eyes when I flipped past the game and saw OSU losing to Illinois. I promise you I then turned it off because I didn't want to jinx it.

Thanks Mary! We were there in person and it was hard to watch. I must say though that ILL is an awesome team!!!! You really had some amazing plays and that new offense really worked for you. I am in mourning, shock etc but this is MI week and we still have a chance at the Big 10 title. I just hope that our boys can rebound from this upset heartbreaker with that title still on the line and MI gunning for us. Bearing that in mind and how much I love Ohio State I must say "Go Bucks!"

The Illini aren't my team. I'd say if anything I'd call myself a Notre Dame fan (and we all know what a wonderful year they are having). We proudly display an Ohio State magnet in our kitchen (and yes Karen it is in the same prominant spot as when you visited. Of course I work with a tone of Illini fans so I'm sure I'll be hearing about the game all day.

Yeah, that was an ugly game. I'm not sure why our defense didn't come to the game that day! And I think Todd Boeckman suddenly became colorblind....since he kept throwing to the wrong team!

And then there was that fumble that the refs missed and called it complete, allowing Illinois to score.

Ah well, as the song goes...."we'll win the game or know the reason why...."

Running like crazy. Today I have to do school. Find time to run to walmart to get KT new shoes. Pick up my prescription at Kroger. Buy a few things that will make for easy "packable" lunches once Nick's rehearsals start (b/c we won't be able to eat dinner at home). Have dinner on the table at 5 so KT and I can eat before leaving for rehearsal. Take KT to rehearsal. Leave theater to meet Mike and Nick for haircuts. Go back and pick up KT. Come home. Veg.

And this isn't bad. Starting Thursday we add Nick's rehearsals into the mix!
