wohooooooo!!! We just got our season tickets to the university of georgia football games and we got moved to the lower level!!!!!! Plus got parking passes for all the games.




And my first UTOP!!!!!!

We just got our Ohio State ones a couple of weeks ago. Scary b/c they were delivered on Saturday when we were out of town and they sat in our box until late Sunday night! I can't imagine what would have happened had someone found them!!!!

Our tickets are Section 3A, Row 20, Seats 9 and 10. Did you get the fancy seat cushions/back rest things?

Yes we did. Did you? I figure that no on can sit in my seat then. You won't believe this but we are in section 3A row 8 which means that we are in the same section. They are my same seats as last year. Maybe we will have to meet before or after the game. We aren't going to all of the games but we will be staying at the Varsity Inn for the ones we will attend. Let me know if you want to have a meet before or after. We may have to wear disboard green to id each other lol. Do you think it will go with our Scarlett and Gray? Go Bucks!!!!

Hmmm....Scarlett, Grey and Lime Green. Not so good of a look. I actually won't BE at any games. I don't go unless I HAVE to. Mike will be at all but one. KT will be at all of them. (the one game Mike can't go to, KT is going with his sister, her boyfriend, and Nick--of course, the one game Mike can't go to is also the one he has his Alumni tickets to!!)

And yes, we got the seat cushions. Since KT is such a peanut, we figure it will give her a boost up. ESPECIALLY if she ALSO sits on her Buckeye cushion!

We'd love to meet (probably after a game). Sometimes I'll meet Mike somewhere for dinner, so maybe we can make it a big DIS party!

Hurricane Dean is not expected to affect the itineraries of cruise ships sailing out of Port Canaveral, officials of the cruise lines said Friday.

Carnival Cruise Lines does not anticipate any changes to for its Port Canaveral-based ships, the Glory and the Sensation.

"At this point, Hurricane Dean has not necessitated any changes for our Port Canaveral-based ships, but it has caused itinerary changes on several of our ships operating in the Gulf of Mexico. The safety of our guests and crew are of our utmost importance," the company said.

At Royal Caribbean, there are no changes in store for the Sovereign of the Seas, which sails four-night Bahamas cruises; or the Mariner of the Seas, which runs seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.

But some of the company's ships in other ports will take different routes.

Disney Cruise Line, which home-ports the Disney Wonder, said there were no itinerary changes for its ship.

Did someone say FOOTBALL?

I'm a huge Jax Jaguar fan. I enjoy watching NFL games a little more than college, although I root for the FSU Seminoles! I grew up a Gator fan (sorry Daisy). Next Saturday is the draft party for my local Fantasy Football league. That's always fun; guys nite out. It's kinda like Xmas in August - who'dya get?

We used to have season tickets to all the Jaguar games until 'we' got pregnant with our DS. Now my wife calls herself a Football Widow, since I watch games on Sunday and spend a considerable amount of time studying stats for the fantasy league. Steph puts up with my football obsession, but I'm not allowed to play any other fantasy sports (baseball, basketball, etc.).

2 weeks from today I'll be headed to Athens for the 1st football game!!!! Yes the game starts at 645pm but we have to have a full day of tailgating.

We're the oppposite zerog. We stick to college football - not huge nfl fans. Our last 2 cruises were during football season and we spent our first day on the boat in the pub watching football.

Good morning everyone - happy Saturday!

Had a great evening at the Fest yesterday. I don't know how many of you know who Tommy Makem was (he was part of the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem, later part of Makem and Clancy and also had a great solo career). Well he's known as the Grandfather of Irish music in America and sadly passed away on August 1st. They have dedicated this years Irish Fest to him and the time slots where he was to perform are filled with a dedicated performance to him featuring friends and relatives. It was wonderful!

We got to the fest when it opened at 4 pm and left at 9 pm. It was really getting crowded then. We're going back today but the weather forecast isn't looking good so we'll see how long we stay.

unfortunately we do not have college football we do try to get to at least one Bill's game and maybe on game at my old high school it seem like the weeks are counting down 36 weeks found i need to get a new white dress shirt looks like Dean will spare Florida. looks like a good weekend for yard work and checking the list of cruise needs also listing photos missed from the last cruise to get this next time good reason to looks at the last cruise scrapbook

watching the hurricanes...I hate to sound so selfish, but I hope they won't destroy any of the islands we'll be visiting in April! I know Castaway Cay was hit a few times and it took months to rebuild the vegetation!

Been doing some back to school shopping, got shoes and finished clothes shopping. We're all done except socks for Kaylee. Oh, and supplies. Josh is starting middle school, so there isn't a list of supplies to purchase anymore, however we have to get PE clothes, a lock for his locker and agenda book at orientation which is on the 24th. And let me tell ya, that stuff isn't cheap! I was actually shocked by how much it is. We're going to have to spend about $100 on just PE clothes, because you know you aren't going to get away with just one pair of shorts and one t-shirt!

We're like that too. HUGE college football fans, but haven't seen an NFL game in eons. Unless you count the Superbowl. Which I don't. Because we only watch it for the commercials.

What is Euchre? I've never heard of this game.
