I am not Mary OR Karen, but we'll probably go with Budget. It seems to be close to the port in PC!

We slept in this morning, then went out to breakfast, to Best Buy, and I have been cleaning house some. Taking a break now! I have a parent committee meeting later on for cub scouts. My LAST one before Josh bridges to boy scouts. Yay! I am SO tired of being the awards chair person for our pack, been doing it for 3 years.

DH is home and driving me nuts!

We have only used Hertz and National when we fly into Orlando and most of the time National because Hertz moved off airport property. we will most likely use Budget there is another not sure if it is enterprise but we know we prefer to pick up right at the orlando airport. we have heard Budget does have a shuttle from the office to the port and back. Kay do you watch the Wonder and Magic go by on the two plams web cam.

Good morning everyone! Happy Monday!

Spent a lot of time on the computer yesterday but not a lot of time on the DIS. Paying bills, some shopping online and doing some research for a future trip.

Sorry I haven't gotten to the website updates like I had hoped. I'll try to get to those in the next couple of days.

Mike - we've always used Avis when going DCL. It was much more convenient when they had an office at the Radisson as we would stay there and just drop off the car. What we did in May which worked really well was Mark dropped me off with the luggage and then returned the car and took the shuttle back. After the cruise Karen, the kids, and I stayed with the luggage while Mark and Mike grabbed the Avis shuttle. They were back with their cars while most people were still getting in line for the shuttle.

Thats the other company Avis. We cannot believe there are not more disers posting here there has to be others cruising besides the 5 of us posting. More that likely about April we will start shopping for air fares

Good morning everyone!

My week is NOT starting well! I always look forward to having a cup of coffee and reading my email/DISing for a little while after I send the kids off to school and before I have to get ready for work! So today I make the coffee, drop the kids off to school, come back home, get all settled in front of the computer with my coffee, just to find out that my whole computer is out of whack! Apparently *someone* downloaded a virus that completely disabled Norton and it would not let me turn it back on! So I had to uninstall it, and re-install it. What a pain!! I swear to god, I am going to kill my DH! The computer was JUST FINE when I went to bed last night, thank you very much! He messed around on it this morning and it was NOT fine when I woke up. Of course, he will say he didn't do a thing! Of course, he clicks on everything and downloads on everything that is being sent to him. You'd think he'd know after having internet access for 10+ years!

Anyway, I am running LiveUpdate now and then doing a Norton system scan, so I really hope that will take care of the problem! Otherwise, I may just have to commit murder! So if you hear anything on the 11 o'clock news tonight.... *deep breaths* *deep breaths*

He usually calls me in the mornings to chat for a bit, however, today he hasn't, and he isn't picking up his cell phone! Hmmm...wonder why?

Norton? Ugh. Might as well hang a piece of cheesecloth in between your pc and your internet connection, it'd do as much good. Same for McAfee. Disabling those two is the main target of those people who write the nasty little things.

I'd recommend either:

AVG Free(yes it is free) scroll down a bit and click on the 'AVG for Windows install file'.

Or over the counter:

Gotta get mine out. That's on my list of things to do today. Cleaning the bathroom was not, but....well, it couldn't wait any longer. Now it's sparkling clean....well, at least until someone goes in there and USES it!

I might just mention your names in the letter. I mean, after all, I don't want YOUR "mid-summer" to mean July 8th and MY "mid-summer" to mean July 15th.

I'm sure they've gotten stranger requests.

ummmm...yeah...I have a fax prepared that says "the maiden voyage for the Disney Dreams". Not really, but it says maiden voyage for a potential West coast ship I just haven't been brave enough to fax it yet!

Thanks for the info. Everybody has probably realized that I'm not to with technology these days. At our house it is best left to the teenager to put phone #'s in my phone, work the navigation in my car, handle computer problems, cook, etc......

I am currently running a virus scan. I know I have virus protection from Time Warner, but it is probably not good enough.

How do I run a scan for spyware (do you scan for spyware)?
