Is this a good time to go? How will the crowds be? Also any reviews for the Castle Inn and Suites or the Carousel Inn? Really on a budget. 2 Kiddies and 2 Adults. Don't need anything fancy, just there to sleep and the kiddies might swim.Help please!!:confused3

I just switched my trip to the week before your dates and got in on the $150 Gift Card promotion. I believe it ends on the 24th. Good deal if you ask me.

We have stayed at the Carousel Inn and had a good stay but it does get the odd bad review. Haven't heard too many good reviews of the Castle Inn. BWPPI, Tropicanna and Camelot also get good reviews, a little further away but still walking distance are HoJos and CCI.

The Castle Inn is on my list of hotels I do not recommend.
I'd go with the Carousel.

What about April17-22nd? Buisier?? Anyone stayed at the Ramada Maingate? Thanks for the help.

We have stayed at the Ramada Maingate. I wasn't impressed, but it was OK. We had some issues with the room and had to move (the bed was broken). If I got a really really good deal, I'd stay here again, but I'd choose Best Western Anaheim Inn over this one every day of the week. It is closer to the DL crosswalk and was a little cheaper. 4 of us (3 adults and 1 child) stayed in a double room and we had plenty of room. The room was clean and quiet. It was on the first floor. The pool is on the smaller side, but there was plenty of room for us to get in and relax a little. I don't think there was any contential breakfast offered with this room, but I can't remember for sure.

We have also stayed at the Park Vue Inn and would stay there again too. It is even closer than the BWAI. It was clean and quiet. This time it was just DH and I and was fine for us. We didn't use the pool there, but it looked ok when we took a peak at it. Here's a few pics of our room.
