April 24, 2005- 4 night Wonder!

I am fairly new to these boards. My DSIL introduced me a while a go, just a little slow at getting started.



My DH & I are going the 24th also! We are taking a 10 yr anniversary trip a couple months early.

We are going to be on Deck 6 also, more towards the middle.

I was curious to know if anyone else is going w/o the kids? My DH & I don't have any yet, so it will just us.

(I will have a Lime Green Ribbon also.)

My DH and DD ( celebrating her sweet 16 on board) WL before the cruise and AKL after!
We are on deck 7 aft, I can't wait to sit on the verandah and look out at that sea!! I am so tired of the snow!

We are a family of 5 - DH, DS-13, DD-11, DD-8. Both daughters are from the Girl Scout troops talked about by Corryn.

Are any of you planning on dressing up for Pirates Night??? I bought my entire family costumes and want to encourage others to do the same!!

I am working on the DH, so far he has agreed to wear an eye patch and a black T shirt. The DD and I are planning on doing something.

i think i'll wear my pirates hat that i got from the pirates of the carribean ride and should buy an eye patch lol......i'll buy some green ribbon for everyone and pins and mail them to everyone so we can meet each other on the cruise. Also so we can tell which people are from the disboards. If you are interested PM me and i'll get the materials at the store and then mail them to everyone. Someone did this on the last cruise i went on and it worked out awesome, we met up with everyone from the DIS and had a great time.

i got the materials for the ribbons today and will be making them tomorrow after school, for the people that have already PMed me i'll send them when i finish them, for the other people that havent PMed me yet dont worry we still have plenty of time until the cruise so i will beable to make them for you and mail them to you in time. If you want ribbons so we can meet on the cruise just PM me. Cant wait to see you all on the cruise!

If you havent PM me or posted on the thread that you've gotten the ribbons just do it when you recieve the ribbons so i know you got them ....anyways...where should we meet? salbythec and i have been thinking about it and are having troubles lol...anyone know a good place?

When you decide on a good meeting place, please post it! This is our first "real" Disney cruise so I have no idea where a good place would be. All I know is that the ship is REALLY BIG compared to the Big Red Boat we were on in 1991!

my mom and i brainstormed and agreed on the Sailaway Deck Party too lol.....how about on Deck 10, in between the two stacks on starboard side (starboard side is port side in port canaveral).

On the picture, Right Side of Deck 10, Between the 2 stacks. Sound like a good place to meet?
