April 24, 2005- 4 night Wonder!

I also have the REAS and have changed my ressie for Palo 2x's ! Up until today I had Palo for Pirate night at 6pm and then we were going to to dinner at 8:30 so we wouldn't miss Pirate night, and eat with DD. But then I realized we would miss Golden mickey show! :sad2: So now I swiched it to Nassau night at 7:30 .We have already seen Hercules so we can miss that if we have too. I too am a complusive planner! :goodvibes Hopefully they stay with Pirate night being on Castaway Cay night!

Can't wait to cruise!!1 :boat:

Corryn-
How did you find out about your dining assignments? I thought you don't find that out until you get your KTTW cards or get to your stateroom?? Also- the current dining rotations on the Wonder are that you have dinner in the same restaurant for the last 2 nights of your cruise due to Pirate Night being on the 3rd night now (CC day)?
That's what I thought, but then some of us got together the other night and they swore that the TA told them the rotation. She must have that info. We should be getting all our Docs soon.

I am psyched for the Pirate Night, but I agree, that totally threw me for a loop!
I also like to micromanage and since we want to experience Pirate Night and all the restaurants, we will miss Palo. Unless we do the brunch.......

I am so stressed waiting for this trip, I'm not even happy about it. We never vacation at this time of year, so it seemed like such a strain purchasing all these summer clothes in one big shot. We usually vacation in September/October and I'll purchase a new pair of sneakers for us all and a few items here and there, but this time, we had to purchase EVERYTHING!!! The only upside is I won't have to shop for summer clothes after this trip!!!

I will be happy and fancy free when Eddie pulls the rental car up to load our luggage in the trunk!!!!!
I don't think I'm the only one, am I, ladies?

Can You Believe it!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!??!?!?!?!?!!?!?It's almost HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes
Last night we came home after a school function and my husband sat on the couch, I was sitting here on the computer and the kids' were getting ready for bed.....But then.....Eddie was doing his regular channel surfing and he passed channel 63 - The Travel Channel...."Hey Corryn, turn on channel 63!" so I did. I saw what it was, turned off the computer and sat in the livingroom with Eddie. Then the girls being their nosy selves came into the room...It was the Disney Cruise Line show they've been showing all along.

But this time it was special, because THERE'S ONLY 11 DAYS LEFT!!!!!! so we sat up, even the girls, until midnight, watching the show yet again. But it was special watching it This time because now it is fresh in our minds and it really got us psyched. We weren't expecting it, but it was a great boost and it lifted my spirits, especially after all the stressful stuff we do to get ready for such a big trip.

I'm still trying to be not excited yet, but I can't help it.

Can you believe it!?!?!

***New Meeting Time***.....the new meeting time will be 3pm..before the drill and it will be in the same location....deck 10..midship...between the 2 stacks...on starboard side (port side in port canaveral) :) :teeth:

I'll try to make it but I have to make hair braiding appointments at 2:30- If there's not a long line I'll be there at 3!!
Everyone is on pins and needles in my house due to excitement. I started packing and making my list of things not to forget to bring. It's supposed to be 65 degrees here today so I'm going to try to lay out and get the freckles to pop so I don't look like a ghost in 2 weeks!

if you cant make it at 3...we'll have another meeting time after the safety drill...id say at 5ish...same spot too....so we can talk more and get to know each other more and enjoy the famous deck party. :teeth:

Is there a reason the meeting time was moved? Just "Wonder"-ing. We should be able to make it to both meetings.

Few other questions:
Who has the 8:30 dinner?? Maybe we could sit together?? (I heard you can arrange this once you get on board or shortly after.)
For how many will this be the first cruise?? It is for us.
Where are the best places for breakfast?
Does anyone remember hearing the additional fee for Palo's was $10pp or did it change?
Are the Mickey Bars FREE on this trip??? :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar

the meeting time was moved because both deck 9 and 10 get crowded during the deck party so if we have the meeting time at 3 then we'll beable to hear everyone talk and have a good time before the drill and deck party. The best place for breakfast, that i go to is parrot cay (sit down style) but there also is the beach blanket buffet (buffet, self-explanatory lol) which is on deck 9, also there is Tritons (same as parrot cay, sit down style). And to the question about the mickey bars....they are absolutely FREE ::MickeyMo :mickeybar ....so you can have as much as you want. :)

We have the late seating ,if you want to sit with us , I believe we can call and have our confirmation numbers hooked up together. PM me.
The time was changed because Travis and I read a thread that suggested that time. They said that it was a quieter time to meet, gave you a half hour to get to know each other and then you could meet again at the sailaway . Heres the thread

This is our second Disney cruise
We like to go to the dinning room for breakfast
The Palo charge is still 10.00 per person.
There is a brunch at sea day, and the charge is 10.00 for that as well. It books quickly so sign up for that right away!!!
Yes mickey bars are free!!! Be sure to ask for them from room service :mickeybar

We are cruisn soon!!!!!  :wave2:

Ok, here we go!!!! Can't believe I'm down to 9 days till we leave!!! YEEE HAWW!!!!!!!!!

Question :confused3

Cruise Documents
I had a question on the Bahamas Immigration Arrival Card, Section 2, it asks for Intended Stay (nights)? I didn't know if it means in Nausea? Or the entire cruise? So 1 night or 4 nights?
And I assume the Type of Accommodation is "Private Boat"?

Anyone know? I can ask at the Poly, but I would like to complete all the forms!

-Sue

Sue- i don't have the answer to your questions, sorry, but I just had to post this

We are leaving Friday at 4 am to start our drive down from the East End of Long Island, NY- we will stop overnight in Santee SC at the Hampton Inn there- if you see a big Maroon Suburban with a Canadian Mickey Antenna topper, that's us!! After leaving Santee Saturday morning, we hope to check in to the Radisson at the Port around lunchtime and hit the pool!! Where are you guys staying on the way down?

Hi, i was looking through the photos i have taken of the trip and I had none of me in the Loft (i was 14 at the time). I was wondering if anyone had any photos of the teen area, i vaguely remember some of the kids i befriended on the trip. Unfortunately I lost contact with them soon after we disembarked. Im surprised threads like this still exist :)
Incase any of your kids remember a foreign kid from New Zealand, thats me!
