We just booked our flights for Saturday, April 22 - Wednesday, April 26 so five days, four nights. Currently we have a tower suite booked at Cabana Bay. Background - Travel party of 2, both adults, both UO annual pass holders, last at UO in the fall.
However, my travel partner was a little concerned when we booked about being at UO over a weekend. Touring Plans has crowd levels at a 6 for Saturday and Sunday and then dropping to the 2-3 range for the rest of our stay. My initial reaction was that we have plenty of time so we don't have to go commando and can just do some of the "people eaters" on the weekend and then hit everything else once the crowds drop. But now I'm second-guessing things.
We could get a room at Hard Rock Hotel for an extra $120 for Saturday night. What do y'all think? Worth the extra money?

Or Plan C would be to go to Kennedy Space Center for Saturday afternoon/Sunday (thinking of getting an annual pass for KSC) and spend Saturday night at a hotel near there. This is probably the most expensive option as we would need to rent a car for this part of the trip.
