April 22, 2015 ~ Disney Wonder from Miami!

Hi!
My family and I will be cruising with y'all! This will be our 3rd cruise. Our first was in Feb 2014 for Valentines Day and this September we are taking a 7 night Western Caribbean. My husband fell in love with cruising! I enjoy it but I still get nervous about being out at sea.
My family includes myself, hubby, 3 yr old daughter, and 18 month old son. My kiddos will be almost 4 and 2 1/2 when we set sail! :)

Hi All! We will be sailing on this cruise and we are really looking forward to it! The Wonder was the ship on our first Disney cruise back in 2001 and I can't wait to see her again. We have also been on the Dream and the Magic, I guess we just have one left ;) We have never been to Key West, but my DH has always wanted to go, so that is why we have chosen this one. We have only done the three night to Nassau, so this will also be our longest cruise.

We are a family of four, my DH Bert, myself Amy, my oldest DS Dominic who will be 18 and very worried he won't have a good time. He spent most of his time at the teen center last cruise and it was his "best cruise ever" so I am worried now too. My youngest DS will be 16 and has fun no matter how old or who is around. He absolutely LOVES Disney as much as I do.

If anyone has any helpful hint about the Port of Miami, I would love to hear them. We have never been south of Port Canaveral! Thanks!

So Excited about our first Disney Cruise! We are going to celebrate my daughter's 4th birthday! It will be myself, my husband, and my daughter, Alexa.

Wanting to participate in the gift exchange but I'm not sure what I need to do.. any help would be appreciated!

We can't wait!!:yay:

Hello All:

We are booked on this cruise also. Thought it would be a nice change to get away from Orlando area for the start of this vacation and like the fact that KeyWest is on it. (not to mention cheaper than the dream or fantasy!)

This will be our 5th DCL cruise and after we would have officially been on all 4 ships. We have done this April school vacation week for all of them.

3 and a 4 night on the dream
7 night on the fantasy
3 night on the magic

We will be flying into Ft. Lauderdale - looking to stay for a few nights ahead of time. Looking for recommendations, something on the beach - preferably a Marriott.

Hi we are on this cruise as well and would like to be added to the FE group! We are currently getting ready for our upcoming cruise in November - so we are focusing our energies into that one. If you can add us to the FE list, it would be appreciated - what info do you need?

Thank you for doing this!

My wife and I will be on this cruise. This will be our second cruise, and we're bringing along her parents for their first!

We did the same cruise May of 2013, but in reverse (Mia-KW-Nassau-CC-Mia). I started (but never completed) a trip report- it may be helpful for some tips?

This cruise will be our families very first cruising experience! We are going with my husband's Mom & Step-dad, who cruise often. We're trying our best to keep it under wraps from the kids. It was hard at first, but now it's gotten easier.

We are on deck 6. Kids: DS 14, DS 9, DD 5, DD 4

Hi all this will be my 2nd cruise (1st was on the magic in Mar) but my families 1st they are all so excited & can't wait. There are 8 of us going me my husband & our 5 daughters 19,17,14,12&11 & our son 7. We love Disney for more than normal reasons. It is one of the few destinations my 12 yr old feels safe eating when we travel. She has Celiac so she loves how Well Disney takes care of her & so do we :)

Me and DW and 3 kids on this cruise.... 2 girls 11 & 9 and son age 7....... Can't wait......!:cool1:

Hi! We have switched cruises a couple of times and have landed on this sailing :) We chose it because of no sea days and a great time of year! Cannot believe this sailing seems to be almost sold out....we got one of the last oceanview rooms according to our Dreams agent.

Anyways, 2 girls - ages 4 1/2 and 1 1/2 by the time the cruise comes around. We are new to DCL but not to cruising (prior Carnival and RCL cruisers, both DH, DD1 and me) or WDW.

Looking forward to it!

Hello!! First time on a cruise, it had to be Disney!! :cool1::banana::cool1::banana:

It's going to be me, hubby and our almost 6 year old daughter.

Can't wait!!

If you have a little one who needs a friend get in touch! My DD can use a "Little Disney Sister" on the cruise (the more the merrier). :cutie:

See you on board!!!!!!!!!

Elisa

I need more posts to get my counter on... I need to do it manually for now...

126 Days to go!!! :yay:

soooo who's on deck 6? Anybody on the FE group? (not sure how it works, is it limited to people on your deck?)

Great....just an update from us as this is getting closer. We can't wait!

We ended up snagging the week before at DVC Vero Beach resort. We went there several years back and I can't wait to go again!

We still need to snag one night in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area for the night after our cruise because flights were so darn expensive going out on Sunday. I will keep checking to see if the prices go down so we can get home on Sunday. All well.....our house/pet sitter will be happy with an extra night anyway.

I would love to join the FE list. But, I believe I see two separate emails in this thread to join. Who is handing the FE list???

Unfortunately, posts have been removed from a number of Cruise Meets threads including this one.

PLEASE review the Cruise Meet Policy regarding Cruise Meet and Fish Extender programs. - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3353477

Links to Cruise Meet discussion/Fish Extenders other than those on the DIS may not be posted or offered by any other means (PM, email, "search" directions, etc.).

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has come forward recently to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to organize the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Many Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS.

Our family is getting so excited for our cruise! We are having so much fun planning, researching and counting down until we leave. Is anyone doing anything special to count down?

For anyone who will have kids planning on hanging out in Edge, we would love to have our 11 year old daughter find a couple of buddies she can socialize with. She has high functioning autism and tries very hard to be social. She is very much looking forward to being in the 'tween' club but we are worried that she won't fit in.

Hello, I am looking to sign my kids up for the fish extender program for the April 22, 2015 cruise. How do I go about doing this?
